Good location, clean, modern, helpful staff.

Motel One Basel was conveniently and centrally located. The hotel is next to Barfusserplatz, so check if there are any events in the plaza if you are concerned about noise and crowds. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good and nice to have available. Basel hotels offer the "Basel card" which provides free local trams/bus travel and discounts on museums and other attractions. I appreciated the hotel bar which had a nice selection of gins. I would stay here again.

great location. great room. My luggage was lost by the airline and everyone at the hotel was a help in getting my bag retrieved and delivered just 5 minutes before our scheduled departure.

Die Sitzgelegenheiten beim Frühstück sind ungenügend. Es hat nur einen Tisch mit 8 Stühlen. Daneben hat es nur Lounge-Möbelierung, welche zum frühstücken äusserst unbequem ist.
