Very unique place to stay, clean, comfortable and close to Tradex where our daughter was playing Volleyball.

The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was very comfortable. You felt very at home there. I would stay there again.

Great place to stay, would definitely recommend! Couple things of note to work on, though. The plumbing could be improved in the Thomas Crown room. Toilet needed multiple flushes to replenish the water level, and the sink drain need a bottle of Liquid Plummer. Very slow drain. Other than that, room was great, bed was great, very unique and quaint accommodation. Good value as well!

We only stayed for the one night but the property is amazing and exceeded our expectations. The room are beautiful designed and have absolutely everything. Breakfast was continental but excellent. Highly Recommended.

This place is only suited to individuals who can carry heavy suitcases up and down twisting flights of stairs. The room was tidy and decorated in a quaint vineyard theme. But there was so much dust! It clung to the fake grapes, and all the other decor. It was on the bed rails, the rocking chair. It was as if the owner or cleaner didnt realize that things need to be picked up and dusted under. But under the bed and under the sofa the dust was thick! I began having breathing issues. On our second night i was up all night wheezing from the dust. We found it warm in the suite despite the bedroom AC. We couldn't open the windows as the farm land fertalizer smell was strong. The owner was nice enough. The breakfast was fair but politely served.The first day the fruit was on its last leg. The coissants were stale . The remote was missing so the owner replaced it. But at sometime when we weren't there he entered the room swapping it out with another one that wasnt synced to the TV. They are selling. This place could be good with a deep clean, and a clear understanding that its not ideal for those with any disabilities or mobility issues. If

What a tastefully decorated and comfortable suite!!! It was exactly what we needed and we'd go back any day!!! Continental breakfast was simple and lovely and the host, Chris, was so hospitable. One of our fave places we've stayed, including overseas. Our room felt like the most charming English BnB!

Wonderful experience---one of the best places I've stayed at in British Columbia. Chris is a wonderful host. Very happy to recommend this lovely hotel to anyone looking for a special, comfortable home away from home.

Great little hotel. Themed rooms. Continental breakfast offered. Only issue was ran out of hot water in the shower due to overuse and had to wait for the tank to heat up again. Otherwise would have given 5*.

4 star hotel but way too much dust from lobby to suite floors, dusty walls, pictures, light fixtures, so many dusty nicknacks it was ridiculous. Otherwise woukd have been a 5 star stay.

Absolutely everything was beyond perfection in this amazing establishment. The host, Chris, was friendly and accommodating upon my arrival and even drove me to the airport the next morning to retrieve my vehicle. The hotel is spotless, quaint and quirky and invites a person to wander and wonder. When I entered my suite, I honestly believe that my mouth dropped open at the whimsical decor and use of accessories and sheer amazement of what I was about to enjoy. I walked through the suite recording and commenting on my camera phone so that I could share it with my 2 adult children. Everything is very tastefully decorated by Chris' wife Sandi and I felt like it had been done just for me!!! In the morning, at the continental breakfast in the stunning dining room, I chatted with one couple who had stayed several times and the wife agreed that the "Secret Garden" was a favorite suite. Honestly, I did not want to leave and when Chris drove me to retrieve my truck I told him that the Brookside Inn had spoiled me for any other hotel. We parted with a big hug as good friends would do.
