Great staff great rooms and furnishings

The owner is great. She tried very hard to make us happy. Will definitely recommend it.

What an incredible place. Every single detail associated with our stay was perfect! The staff was amazing, breakfast was exceptional each morning, and the views from our balcony room were unreal. We will be back for sure!

It's Switzerland which means it's expensive. That aside, wonderful, quaint hotel managed by the family with classic Swiss amenities. Really good location on the edge of the main street which gives some level of quiet while keeping you close to all the shops.

Quaint place & wonderful staff. Lack of AC made it uncomfortable sleeping. Also we had a dripping flower pot from above our room that wet our patio & dripping loudly continued all night long. Odd that our shower did not include body soap. Just shampoo. Luckily I had a small bar of soap to use. Breakfast was adequate although a hot meal option would have been a nice selection. Gary & his wife were so helpful with our questions & recommendations.

Amazing stay. Perfect location just outside the busy centre which made it much more relaxing. Really helpful owners and staff. Wonderful to sit with a drink on the terasse.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit täglich wechselndem hochwertigen Menü am Abend zu einem fairen Menüpreis. Sehr freundliche Hotelierfamilie mit serviceorientiertem Personal. Realistische Beratung zu geplanten Aktivitäten und insbesondere zur Wetterentwicklung in den Bergen. Diese Beratung ist in Anbetracht der völlig überhöhten Bergbahnpreise auf das Jungfraujoch und der Buslinien zu den Alphütten mehr als hilfreich. Hotelparkplätze sind vorhanden und auch der kostenlos mit der Gästekarte zu nutzende Ortsbus zum Bahnhof und zur Gondelbahn hält direkt vor dem Hotel. Die Hotelpreise können pro Nacht stark variieren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel empfehlen.

Very cozy and comfortable with a beautiful Mountain View. Great bathroom in comparison to many European accommodations. Nice location. Wonderful and helpful staff. Delicious (cold) breakfast.

Very nice clean room and the owners were very helpful. The breakfast was a nice, standard breakfast. The dinner was not special. No a/c so the room was a little warm and slightly noisy as the hotel is next to the main road but you have a fantastic view of the mountains and you aren’t in the tourist crush of the downtown area. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Third generation family run property with very friendly innkeepers. Offered a solid breakfast with everything you could want but no eggs or breakfast meat. I didn’t miss them. Interior is cozy and charming. My balcony had such an amazing view of Witterhorn Mountain, I didn’t want to leave my room! Location is perfect, away from the touristy center of town but still walkable to everything. Can’t recommend the place enough.

This is a family-run hotel with friendly staff and amazing views. We don’t normally eat in the same hotel where we stay, but we ate dinner here every night, and the food was great. I would definitely stay here again! Totally recommended!

The room was perfect, the staff very friendly and the location idyllic. Could not have asked for a better stay.

The room was large and had convenient places to open and store your luggage. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with the recreation and trains. They even sent our luggage to our next hotel in another town! The food was delicious and the breakfast/service was wonderful. This is one of the best hotels in our 3 week trip!

Room is clean and huge. Television is pretty new and large. The view from the balcony is great and balcony is massive. Bed is one of the best in all the hotel we have stayed. very convenient spot and quiet. The breakfast has the most options to choose from and I am missing it already. The only one downside that could be improved is the shower is weak and the hot water is kind of inconsistent. But I found it quite a typical problem in swiss hotel in general. But overall highly recommend! Just look at my photos. It is worth it!

The room was clean and tidy. Furniture a bit dated, but that is a part of the charm. Bathroom was newly renovated and super nice. The room had a lovely and spacious balcony, with a perfect view of the mountains. The staff was very welcoming and helpfull, and served the best breakfast you could ever ask for. Would definately recommend this hotel.

Internet in our room was very glitchy I went downstairs to use the wifi - it was not connecting for my laptop

The setting is unbelievable, like all hotels in Grindelwald. Our room opened onto a spacious patio with amazing views. The room itself was fine, nothing remarkable about it. During a September visit, we would have liked to have utilized the sauna but we were told it was only open on request during the "summer months." We would have preferred to stay somewhere with more amenities such as a pool or hot tub but we had a pleasant 1-night stay here nonetheless.
