First, this is not a hote. It is a B&B where you leave your keys when you go out and ring to get in. Very pleasant, tasteful decor, and unique rooms. I like that it's not a standardized chain and its location is great - near la Sebastiana, a nice lunch place, and a couple of restaurants on residential Bellavista. Tranquil. Smiling and nice staff. However, consider a few things if you are a foreigner who speaks little Spanish. Staff could not advise me where to get the colectivos that run between the hill and main town, so it was very hard for my mother to climb the hill until we figured it out alone. Many restaurants close at dusk in the area so it was a problem for dinner. Services not as listed - no laundry, no room service when requested during the times it's supposed to be there. It has charm but best for budget travelers who speak pretty good Spanish or who are in a group/are used to hills to move around freely in a cerro that gets very isolated in the evening and where people advised me not to walk after dark.
