Centrally located in Old Quebec close to many tourist attractions is certainly a major asset, but this lovely hotel offers much more. All of the staff are super helpful, friendly, and a real pleasure to know. Rooms are clean with modern conveniences, and comfortable (though the low-seating chairs require some getting used to). The hotel restaurant offers alcoholic beverages and quality food choices. We highly recommend the crepes and beef bourguignon. Our room faced front, but we did not experience any problem from outside noises.

Wonderful location and very charming room. My only suggestion is that the mattress could be replaced. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

The staff were wonderful. They actually held our bags as we where way early for check-in. Texted us when room was ready and had moved our luggage to the room for us. The desk helped us with yours and restaurants, even making a reservation for us. Make a wonderful visit

Best part of our stay at the hotel were the people (employees). Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Charles and Sandrine. We wanted to experience Old Quebec City for its ambiance and character. The hotel building is over 300 years old and there wasn’t an elevator. I was worried about getting our luggage up the stairs, but the hotel staff that someone would be available to assist with our luggage.,

So close to restaurants, the river, and pet friendly, we truly enjoyed our stay! Sandrine was extremely helpful with recommendations for us, and kept our sweet Maci happy with plenty of cookies. I look forward to our next stay!

Hotel manager Charles Corsiez greeted us upon arrival. Took great care of us. Hotel food is excellent (my favourite was breakfast). Restaurant staff provided outstanding service. This is where we will stay when we go back to Quebec City. Location is perfect, close to all amenities.

The staff was fantastic, the hotel has a great rustic vibe.. Ia brushette, the hotel's restaurant, has the best Pork Belly poutine, steak&egg breakfast, and filet mignon dinner. The location can't be beat! You're located in the heart of it all yet peaceful enough to sleep at night. We will definitely go back to Quebec City and we will definitely stay at Auberge place D Armes!

Good location

Hotel is superb and in the perfect area of Old Quebec. Staff were very friendly and room and amenities were spotless. My only negative review was that we stayed in room 37 and it was 51 stairs to get there.

The staff was very nice and helpful with any questions or needs we had during our stay. The Auberge was an amazing location and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to explore the city.

Our stay was everything we had hoped for. The location couldn’t have been better. The room was very clean and comfortable. We did not eat breakfast downstairs.

Sandrine and Charles were so very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. My room was bright yet cozy and very quiet. If mobility is a concern, there are stairs to get into hotel and to rooms. Hotel is in great location - we walked everywhere! Wonderful stay - I highly recommend this great hotel!

This is a very charming boutique hotel! Steps away from the magnificent Chateau Frontenac and many great restaurants and historic sites. My room was well-appointed and the staff are very responsive. A highlight for me was meeting fabulous staff member Sandrine who gave me such a warm welcome when I arrived and was very helpful throughout my stay. Manager Charles was also very helpful and accommodating. It was easy to walk to many of the places we wanted to visit, or take a quick ride in an Uber. The attached restaurant La Buchette was very handy and I enjoyed a classic moules frites meal there. If you have mobility issues, this hotel would not be the best fit because there is no elevator. The staff, perfect location, and the atmosphere make this a very special hotel. Every day they reached out by text message to see if there was anything I needed. When I arrived, there was a hand-written personalized note welcoming me to the Auberge. These extra touches meant a lot to me:) I would definitely return in the future and I hope Sandrine is still working there when I do :) À bientot!
