Nice place, clean rooms, friendly people

Great experience, great service.

The room was very comfortable but unfortunately there was a private event at the restaurant and the noise was very disturbing. We had a room on the ground floor, with a view on the parking and located just in front of the restaurant's restroom so we could hear every single guest getting to the restroom, the cars on the parking lot and the music of the party...

Nous avons déjà séjourné dans cet hôtel plusieurs fois il y a deux ans. Cette fois-ci nous n'avons pas apprécié notre séjour ("chambre double classique" (126€ sans PDJ)). La réceptionniste a mis 1/2 heure pour nous enregistrer car elle ne cessait pas de s'occuper d'autres choses et a répondu de manière assez rude à nos simples questions. Mais le problème principal a été le ronflement important et les vibrations produites par les condensateurs des frigos de la cuisine (explication reçue le lendemain car personne n'a répondu à la réception pendant la nuit), proches de la chambre, et qui ont fonctionné par intermittence pendant toute la nuit (alors que les fenêtres étaient fermées). Apparemment nous étions, selon le réceptionniste du lendemain matin, dans "les chambres à éviter" (ou bien avoir, comme lui, un sommeil de plomb). Encore faut-il le savoir... En tous cas, nous ne prendrons plus ce risque.

Room was comfortable. However, floorboards creaked with every step. Bed also very noisy with every movement. On-site parking is very limited. App required to pay for street parking not compatible with American cell phone. Parking ticket machines no longer accepts coins or cards. Hotel desk clerk did not appear very happy to assist guests, or maybe just us. Breakfast was very good.

Breakfast was mediocre and front desk staff were rude. Hotel restaurant was great. Nice property.

Lovely hotel very reputable, but pricey, restaurant onsite. We opted for a small restaurant across and 1/2 block away. Short walk from the train station and a short train ride to the city.

My experience was great. Room and amenities was as pictured and as expected. I had an experience with good service. Maybe a downside if your an American used to AC is that the room did not have AC, they provided a fan. Restaurant attached was beautiful, it is a pricey top notch restaurant some come prepared to shell it out!

Jättefint hotell i lugnt område med tillmötesgående personal och god frukost. Vi hade ett familjerum med fullt utrustat kök vilket vi förvisso inte använde då vi bara stannade en natt. Men vi återvänder gärna för en längre vistelse!

Very friendly, calm accommodation at reasonable rates

Vi fik værelse i hus overfor hotellet. Var ikke oplyst på forhånd. Værelse var ok, men aircondition kunne slet ikke holde det køligt på nogen måde. Vi spiste på hotellets restaurant 1. aften, men ventede en time på maden foruden tjenerne var SÅ snobbede! Det samme ved morgenmaden begge dage. Vi var nærmest kun til besvær, følte vi. Er I ikke interesseret i turister? Deres gårdhave/terasse er dog vildt skøn og hyggelig. Men det bliver ikke det hotel, vi kommer på næste gang.

The Hostellerie du Grünewald is beautiful, cozy and convenient hotel. We love the ambiance and location too. The bar is amazing with excellent service. The room is super clean with everything we need. Highly recommend this hotel.

Uitstekend ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel. Kamer was bijzonder: deuren sloten niet goed.
