Perfecte B&B. Ruime kamer, prachtig gemeubileerd, heerlijk bed, mooie badkamer, uitstekend ontbijt en buitengewoon vriendelijk personeel. Beter wordt het niet.

Beautiful hotel with intricate interior throughout which is a wonderful setting to base a stay in Bruges. The hotel is run by John and Michael who are the most incredible hosts, with nothing too much trouble and an incredibly warm welcome. We arrived late on a Friday evening but we're greeted and shown to our room with lots of information about the city. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and high quality fresh ingredients from yoghurt, fruits, granola, breads and pastries, eggs and bacon/smoked salmon and more. Freshly squeezed juices, tea coffee etc. The rooms are immaculate, and impeccably clean, with large bathroom, comfortable beds, fridge, TV and air conditioning. I booked via Hotels.com, and the pricing was great for an incredible experience and masterclass in hospitality.

John is a marvelous host. Bruges is small and quiet and packed with atmosphere. To stay at a bed and breakfast so close to everything that is so representative of the city is a genuine European experience. Highest recommendations.

I was not paying attention when i booked the room, not noticing it was a bnb ( i prefer hotels) that said it was a very nice place. The host was accommodating and very polite.

Wir haben ein wundervolles Wochenende in Brügge verbracht. Insbesondere auch aufgrund des sehr schönen Hotels, welches eine sehr gute Lage hat. Nahe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Ein perfekter Frühstücks-Service, keine Buffet, so beginnt der Tag entspannt.

This B&B was extraordinary. The host John was so friendly and most helpful. His home is like a gallery of beautiful artworks. The striking glass window reflected that this was once the home and workshop of stain glass artisans. Our Ruben’s room was exquisite, one of the most beautiful rooms we have ever stayed in. Wish we had time to have stayed longer. The room was spotless, the shower was hot and the bed and furniture so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, perfectly prepared omelette and eggs and a basket of delicious baked goods. The location was just 10 minute walk from the market square. We would come back in a heart back.

We loved our stay - beautiful room, wonderful breakfast, John was outstanding with whatever help we needed … restaurants, sights, local tips. It was a special place, excellent location for walking. Highly recommend!

Outstanding hospitality prepared us to find and do everything we wanted to accomplish in this fascinating town. Historically fascinating accommodations. Large, comfortable, immaculate rooms. Highly recommend.

Es handelt sich nicht um ein Hotel, sondern um eine Frühstückspension mit 5 Zimmern, die mit höchster und angenehmster Personaleffizienz (2) bewitschaftet werden. Alle hoteltypischen Merkmale in dieser Preiskategorie wie Lobby, Bar, Rezeption, Sauna, Wellness fehlen. Das Ambiente ist einzigartig. Neogotisch renoviertes Haus mit Mobiliar von Empire über Historismus zum Jugendstil. Der Frühstücksraum ist das ehemalige Atelier des Künstlers, der Ende des 19.Jh. das Haus umbaute. Sollte man erlebt haben. Gäbe ich 5 Sterne, bliebe für`s Sacher in Wien nichts mehr übrig.

The Huis 't Schaep is beyond outstanding. It made our stay in Bruge such a memorable trip for my wife and I. More specifically, John is a truly amazing host with an exceptional hospitality. We never thought that we would meet such a caring and kind individual like him. Everything in this place, include the breakfast, exceeded our expectation!
