Great place to stay rooms are comfortable, clean, the staff are excellent Side note, I had to make a change the Expedia call center is terrible and not very helpful. The call centre is very loud with people talking and laughing and very hard to understand. Didn’t even get a hold of me to let me know the change was done she left me on hold for 10 minutes after the staff let me know it was done so I hung up. It wasn’t even updated on my Expedia account and no call back.

We really liked the charming young woman who checked us in. She was very helpful. The beds were comfortable, amenities fine. The second night got a little noisy as more guests arrived at the Lodge.

The grass across the parking lot was so essential. I checked out early, put my key on the table before I left. I also shared a pair of shoes I was gifted from communities members. I pray that my early departure did not incur any additional fees and I am so grateful for the bath tub. 10/10 staff, 5/5 Island View Motel (-: thanks!

It did the job for a short overnight for the price - I think acceptable is the right word. The first room I was in, the heater was stuck on and the thermostat was disconnected so they had me move. In the other room only one of the three lamps/lights worked. Also, the grout on the shower walls had pinkish film in areas and was clearly overdue for a clean. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and everything seemed to be clean. Some updates have been made to the older property - the first room had a modern renovated bathroom with a walk in shower and there was a newer vanity in the second room. Seems like big jobs that get contracted out get done but they're lacking regular handyperson presence.

I had a beautiful ocean view from my room. The hotel is a little older, but has clearly been upgraded. Clean, comfortable and the lady working the front desk was just the best.

Property was not kept up. Cigarette butts everywhere. Nobody takes any pride in the outside grounds and upkeep....which it too bad.

Confusing staff and the rooms are not that great. The one thing I will say, the bath tub was nice

The property was clean and bed was comfortable. No cups for coffee’ no Kleenex. I can bring my own if needed but expected these to be provided. My biggest concern was extension cords. There was little access to electrical plugs. In order to use the microwave we either put it on the floor to plug it in or get another extension cord. I would unplug the lamps to have access to electrical plugs.

The room was relatively clean, could use a dusting, lots of old cobwebs in corners, and when moving a chair dirt and dead bugs on the floor and in corners, but it provided a cheap place to spend a night, check in was easy, and front desk was friendly.
