We stayed for 2 nights and we loved the place . We felt at home . Was very convenient and good location and close to the airport. Unfortunately we didn’t get the pickup from the airport and we had to find our own transportation to the hotel. Over all was a very good experience and we will definitely be back .

We had a really great stay here. Very quaint and the all day breakfast was a big plus. PLEASE BE AWARE that the gated parking that they suggest is $35 for day+night. And DO NOT park outside the hotel. Our rental car was broken into and the spare tire was stolen ;(

Cute place and really close to the airport. The area around had lots of shops and food. Great host!

Clean and comfy room but had trouble finding the place. No name on the outside. No front desk either. Since I didn’t have Wi-Fi, I was not able to receive codes for entry.

The hotel owner and place is good. But we had a terrible experience if the lifetime. We would not recommned to book any hotel around this area. Our car was broken in and multiple cars were attempted theft that night. Its not a safe area. We are still battling with enterprise service as they charged us 3500$ for car damage. This area is certainly not safe and the owner and other people wont tell you about this. There is no parking in this hotel. Better book a hotel with parking as San Jose is not a safe place. As soon as we landed in costa rica within 6 hours we were robbed. So do not prefer this area.

the hotel is very cozy, the vibe is so nice but personally I faced two problems first I really want to have a TV in my room second the breakfast style is nice in general and fixable, but the options are so limited only eggs no cheese or vegetables and for the bread only butter no jam or any type of cheese.

Wir sind das 3. Mal hier gewesen und es war immer hervorragend, was Sauberkeit, Zimmergröße und - einrichtung, Freundlichkeit und Frühstück angeht... aber es gibt einige offene Baustellen, wie zum Beispiel kaputte Dielen im allgemeinen Bereich (Stolperstellen), und bei unserem letzten Besuch auch eine defekte Schließmechanik an unserer Tür, sowie Defekte Toilettenspülung und Lampe...

Self service breakfast available all the time. Great for early departure to the airport. Prompt transfer to the airport very early in the morning. Clean and tidy , compact room but large lounge area and kitchen. Didn't go out so unsure of quality of local amenities but there is a supermarket and eating places near by. Nice and quiet except for the odd motorbike. A good inexpensive place to stay when useing the airport.

Wir waren eine Nacht im Hotel und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Die gesamte Unterkunft strahlt eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus. Esteban bietet einen Transfer-Service vom Flughafen an. Wir sind mit unserem Mietwagen angereist und konnten ihn über Nacht für kleines Geld auf einem gesicherten Parkplatz parken, welcher schräg gegenüber liegt. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche, in der man sich morgens Frühstück zubereiten kann.

It was a nicht lttle Family Hotel. Very personal and individual. After some initial difficulties – which were due to misunderstandings regarding our shuttle – the contact was very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable!

Affordable and has a lot of character. Could be better, but worth staying in if you find yourself in Alajuela.

Cute little place in the heart of Alejuela, walking distance to many things, and a 10 min drive to the airport. Staff was communicative and check in was easy. The room was cute and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Good AC, hot water, and great water pressure in the shower. Even basics to eat in the shared kitchen.

Very basic accommodation but owner very friendly and place is clean and bed is comfortable. Worked well for a place to stay between flights

Loved the decor and personal touch of autographing the walls. Other guests woke me at 6 am when they got up but I am a light sleeper so that can’t be helped. Over all lovely welcoming first impression of Costs Rica

Perfect stay after long flight.

We stayed the night before our flight back to the Uk and went out for something to eat locally. Very comfortable room and garden area we could relax in. The host was very accommodating and collected us when we dropped our hire car off and dropped us back at the airport for our flight for $5 in the evening and $10 for an early morning transfer which we thought was very reasonable

Small simple hotel with about six rooms. We definitely stay there again, an economical option. They provide eggs and fruit and toast for you to make your own breakfast. They also pick you up and drop you off at the airport for five dollars.

A small, spartan room w/bath. Very clean. Make your own breakfast was just fine. Very reasonable cost to pick us up at airport. Also enjoyed cost effective transportation to our car rental company. This place is good for a quick stay in the city.
