The breakfast menu was excellent. The waterfall view from the room was wonderful. It was also close enough to the waterfall to hear it. It makes sleeping pleasant. The bed was also very comfortable.

The place is adorable and is in a great location. The only problem for me is the wifi was a bit slow, so if you have to work from your room be prepared for this

Stayed in the family room on 2nd floor for a night. Room had a great view of the falls plus hotel is walking distance to downtown restaurants and the spa. Hearty breakfast in the morning. Karl was the perfect host. Highly recommended.

This hotel is clean and comfortable, centrally located, is good value for money, and is beautifully decorated. Trips out can be arranged from the hotel and the owners Carl and Priscilla are very friendly, helpful, and informative. I would certainly stay here again if I was in the area

We had the pleasure of staying at La Posada del Arte for three nights in mid-August during our family trip to Ecuador. Our group included an 8-year-old and parents in their 90s, so finding accommodations that could suit a wide range of needs was important — and this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We booked our stay about a month in advance and drove down from Quito. We were happy to find ample street parking available directly outside the hotel at all hours of the day. From the moment we arrived, Carl, his wife, and staff greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality. They quickly got us settled and were incredibly accommodating when we needed to switch one of the rooms due to mobility concerns for one of our elderly parents. Their thoughtful assistance made all the difference in making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The grounds and rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We especially loved the rooms on the second floor, which offered a spectacular view of a nearby waterfall — beautifully lit at night, creating a magical atmosphere. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the strong water pressure in the showers — something that had been lacking in other places we stayed in Ecuador. The location of La Posada del Arte couldn’t be better. It's just a short walk to many of Baños’ charming restaurants, cafés, and local shops. Our hosts, couldn't do enough for us, they were helpful and friendly, the breakfast & dinner were excellent. The rooms were spacious and comfortable if a little dated, but that did not deter from the pleasureable stay. A good location for exploring the area.

We loved it. Carl and his family made us feel at home. The place is beautiful and located on a quiet street near dining and the hot spring baths. Breakfast was amazing every morning. I would love to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at La Posada del Arte. The staff was wonderful and so accommodating. The location of the property was great. We could easily walk to dining, shopping and recreation. The property itself is so unique and the artwork is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. We are really enjoying our first trip to Ecuador and this property is one of the reasons why!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. The location is ideal and the property is very amazing. It is like staying in an art museum. Karl was a wonderful host…except he didn’t let me win at backgammon lol. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

I have stayed at this charming place twice already while visiting Banos. It is a very charming place with much cultural art displayed. Their hospitality is amazing as well as their restaurant and breakfast that is included.

Had a wonderful time here! It has a beautiful view to a waterfall both day and night. 15 minute walk to the bus station. The staff are very accommodating and very kind.

It was okay

This is my second time staying at the Posada de Arte. I enjoyed staying here because the place is comfortable, and at walking distance from the thermal baths. My friends and I really enjoyed having dinner there. The food was very tasty and the presentation was beautiful. The breakfast was really good too. I will definitely stay in La posada de Arte again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room faced the front of the building and it was quite loud when vehicles with loud music drove by and especially on Saturday night. The bathroom could use an update. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was delicious. I would consider staying here again next time we visit Banos.

This hotel is certainly the absolute best in all of Banos! Do yourself a favor & get one of the 2 suites you will not regret waking up & going to bed with the most exquisite views of the waterfall right outside your window.

I loved the location and the cute aesthetic vibe. The breakfast with the view of the waterfall was amazing. The location was great, near a waterfall, thermal pools and plaza.
