Great check in, spotless and tidy facilities. The lounge is gorgeous, especially in the evening with the candles and fire. Fully functional WiFi, central heating and hot showers. Glad to see such a well run YHA!

Great location and helpful staff. Beds are usual hostel bunks but mattress was rock hard and noise from rooms around very loud.

My room was fine, clean and comfortable. The location was close to the center of Helmsley. Worked great!

Stay was very good. We had a private family room, up to 4 beds with a private bathroom. Neil in the front desk was very nice and always looking to make our stay comfortable. The area is charming. If you are looking for a classical charming English village, this is one to check out.
