Close to local sites and castle, staff were friendly and helpful, good amenities and was reasonably quiet considering the location

This was a stunning hotel both for rooms, food and service. It's location was fantastic for the castle. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Harry then had great meals over the next 2 evenings and the included breakfasts comprised both continental and cooked. You helped yourself to the continental and ordered the cooked. All meals were exceptional quality, reasonably priced and served with genuine smiles. When the staff asked whether everything was good, they were actually interested in the answer and would have corrected anything not right. Yvonne served us breakfast and offered to get us an early breakfast when we had to depart early. This pub had the best atmosphere and service in the village. Stunningly good.

With a pub and restaurant right below the hotel, what is not to like here?

Great breakfast, great location.

This was a fantastic and enjoyable stay right in the heart of arundel and only a few paces from the castle. The staff were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was simply amazing with fresh fruit cereals and a full English was of excellent taste and quality and even included black pudding! Fresh milk on a thermos flask for the bedroom read was a really nice touch and so much better to make a cup of tea than those little tins of long life in most rooms. Now I want all hotels to do this. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The swan sets the bar for all other hotels! Thank you.

The room was tiny. No room to move in the shower. At £134 I would have expected more. Staff v friendly and not their fault

Great stay and lovely staff, particularly the Waitress who served us out delicious breakfasts in the morning. Highly recommended

Lovely place to stay and spend a few days

The swan was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The building, rooms, and location were beautiful, well taken care of, and thoughtfully curated. The staff range from quite friendly to fantastically friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. Thanks for having us, we'll be back someday for a longer stay.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel The pub/hotel is in a great location in Arundel. Close to many restaurants and bars and of course the castle The room was small but cosy and very comfortable and clean. We will definitely be returning

Arundel is such a stunning place to visit and The Swan Hotel is a great base to see it from. I can’t fault the check in or the service, both were excellent. The breakfast was really superb and the quality of teas and coffees in the room was really very good. I’ve taken off one star because our room was cramped and had a very small window making it quite dark, plus the shower drained very slowly meaning it overflowed a bit. I would definitely return but I’d make a better choice of room next time, one which offered more space.

Loved Arundel. The Swan Hotel was clean, but room was pokey and in need of a refresh, decoration and a new carpet. Bed was real comfy. Breakfast was amazing, very tasty amount and quality. Very good service at breakfast...did wait a while but it was worth it when it arrived. Overall not a bad deal.

The hotel is in a superb position,we found plenty of free parking near by but car pars are also closer if wanted,we ate there in the evening we had the set menu and it was lovely,service was great,the breakfast also was brilliant,our room was very comfortable,I believe we were ungraded to an Indulgence room as it was our anniversary so a nice touch, honestly Arundel is so beautiful,we wanted to visit the castle which was sadly shut but we will visit again and happily stay at the Swan so thank you.

Food was excellent but the cleanliness was sadly lacking and just felt a little grubby. Room and facilities good but again needed a little facelift, paint and wood work wiped down and grubby

A good location from which to explore Arundle. Comfortable rooms for staying and having a nice break.

Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Food was really good. Room was lovely, bathroom was dated and could do with an upgrade, a shower attachment over the bath was a little antiquated. Overall we had a great time and. We would come again

A beautiful hotel, warm, cosy and very traditional. The staff were great, particularly Yvonne, who made breakfast delightful with her cheerful conversation and attention to all customers.
