Fab stay lovely view of the river .Room nicely decorated with comfy bed and sofa in the room. Food in the restaurant was exceptional my lamb dish was amazing. Dessert was yum rice pudding rhubarb pieces and rhubarb sorbet. We will definitely be staying again. Plenty of choice at breakfast attentive staff.

We stayed in the self catering apartment linked to the hotel. It was spotless, very well furnished and appointed with a full range of appliances. I would have scored 5 stars across the board but for my reluctance to rule out scope for improvement, although our experience during our short break was perfect.

We did not stay in main hotel but in a flat across town up a rusty fire escape. The staff have had little or no training in service to clients. We cancelled our evening meal and breakfast. This hotel is a throwback to the 50’s even to the brown decor. Not to be recommended!

Great location and quality place to start and eat

I booked into the hotel for a two night stay as a birthday gift for my wife and what we found was a wonderful experience. The room was ready early and was extremely clean, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We also booked two reservations in the restaurant and I have to say the food was excellent and the breakfast each morning. The bar also had a great atmosphere. My only observation was that the room maybe could have done with a small fridge to keep the milk that was supplied cool overnight but this is only minor. We will definitely be staying again .

Thoroughly enjoyed stay with the staff totally committed to you. One issue that people with mobility issues should be aware of is that they have rooms up 2/3flights of stairs in a spiral configuration (although carpeted), and they should ensure when booking that they are not allocated these 3/4 rooms. (once up there the view the harbour is superb!!) Rooms clean and checked if you require every day, and the food excellent. The free coffee and cake to guests every afternoon was an added bonus. Would recommend it.

The property was very quirky. It was well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was not a lot of space for clothes e.g. drawers or shelves for putting clothes, only the one very small wardrobe. If anyone has problems with stairs there was a spiral staircase which was quite tricky. It looks amazing though. The breakfast was very nice, no self service, all brought to the table.

Staff were so helpful, very knowledgable about food choices, we ate in the bar for a relaxed atmosphere and it was perfect. Electric car charging was easy and staff were so accommodating in arranging this. Would absolutely recommend and we will be returning to those stunning views from our room. Thank you

The pink vacation cottage was perfection - just loved the location, the bath products, and all the little touches like milk in the fridge and easy peasy recycling. Charming, walkable little town. Would come back in a heartbeat!

From the moment we arrived everyone was so friendly & helpful. The hotel has a lovely feel. There are a few restaurants in Aberaeron but would definitely reccommend you book a table at the hotel - it won’t disappoint. Absolutely recommend

There's nowhere quite so perfect as the Harbourmaster. From the location, to the amazing staff and the wonderful and beautifully Welsh accommodation ...I've lost count of the number times we've stayed and I was always feel sad to leave. Diolch yn fawr iawn am arhosiad gwych.

Lovely hotel and facilities. Rooms are really clean. Beds are very comfortable. Lovely linen. Food at the harbourmaster is excellent as are the staff. Definitely plan to return soon.

Lovely compact but functional single room with great view of the harbour (Mountain Lass). Complimentary homemade biscuits, fresh milk in a little bottle and Molton Brown hand wash. Parking was a bonus. Breakfast was really good and was made to order (not a buffet). I had plain yoghurt with berry compote and granola to start and that was lovely, followed by a full English breakfast which had good quality ingredients. The receptionist, waitress and barman were all really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.
