Willington Hall is set in beautiful grounds and is a delight we keep returning to/

We’ve been looking for a country house hotel near relatives when we visit and Willington Hall is perfect and we’ve booked again for December

Staying at Willington Hall was a lovely experience in terms of hospitality, nothing was too much trouble for the team. However, our room wasn't the cleanest. The four poster bed was extremely dusty and the windows were full of cobwebs, dead and living spiders. Dead flies, were on both the windows sills and floor to the bathroom. I did complain about this upon leaving and received an apology. The hotel is really lovely, just disappointed about our room.

Very comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, friendly helpful staff, very quiet, lovely setting.

Very friendly welcome, we booked a suite, because no dogs are allowed there, which is probably a good idea when you have allergies. The suite was very spacious and romantic. The food was delicious, although I suspect that the breakfast portion size could be a bit larger for some people. The hotel has much charm and is situated in very quiet surroundings. The guest book proposed many things to do, but visitors should come by car, to get around easily. Parking spaces were more than enough outside. Willington Hall hotel is the place to go, if you like peace and quiet and like the charm of an old country house that is kept in check very well. The staff were very nice as well.

Excellent food. Fabulous service from reception, bar and restaurant. Beautiful location with amazing views. Friendly hospitable staff. Plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and spacious. It’s an old building with the related issues (you’d creak a bit if you were that old!). The breakfast buffet was limited however the cooked breakfast food more than made up for this. The evening meals were outstanding. We were part of a group of 6 and none of us were disappointed with the choice or quality.

A wonderful stay. Staff were delightful and so helpful ❤️ Will certainly visit again.

Stayed over whilst visiting friends around and about. Enjoyed evening meals and breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable.

Wonderful peaceful location. Attractive gardens. Ideally located for our visit to Donald McCain stable visit and Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre. Spacious rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the Hotel. and there was a good choice of Breakfast included. Intend to come again when we're next in the area!

Friendly staff, lovely room, comfortable hotel, good food

Nice place to stay for a couple of nights...... Old style facilities but more than adequate.... Checking out early can have its problems when trying to pay.... Restaurant menu and food is great - service is excellent. Breakfast is usually full of drama though.....

All good..... lovely grounds.... Good service although breakfast is a little complicated with seating and menu choices.... Food in the restaurant is fabulous... Made to feel very welcome...

Lovely relaxed, comfortable and friendly stay at Willington Hall. The staff went that extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble for them. Delicious food and drink in beautiful surroundings. We loved it!

Set in gorgeous grounds with garden terraces and restaurant overlooking lovely views. Very comfortable and elegant and cosy family run hotel.

Large room which was very clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. We had dinner which was lovely and a Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend
