El Mirador had good customer service for the most part. They dont speak much if any english which wasnt a huge deal since I spoke the language but for those who dont, it might be difficult. The only two things were when we got there they tried giving us a room without air conditioning or hot showers, I had to explain that we paid for those services -after that they moved us with no problem. During our stay the service was nice, there wasnt much of a variety for breakfast but it was good. Then on the last day they tried making my wife and I pay for an extra day and I again had to go back and forth with them to show them on our hotel confirmation that we payed for our whole stay already. Other than that it was a wonderful stay!!

Muy buena atención

During the year 2017 I have stayed in hotels on four continents and in over a dozen national and international cites and the best hospitality anywhere was at El Mirador! The owner Talma is a "hands on", greet you at the door, take care of your every need owner. This was my fourth time to stay at El Mirador - it was the first hotel I stayed in when visiting Tarapoto and I would not go anywhere else. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the breakfast on the rooftop is amazing - fresh fruit juice, fresh baked breads, wonderful cheese and olives and eggs, all with a great view of the nearby mountains and included in the very reasonable room price: and the staff members are all polite and responsive and genuine. If you visit Tarapoto I highly recommend staying with Talma and staff at El Mirador!
