Very pretty area and cottage. Wifi didn’t work well and we weren’t told we’d be across the road away from the river.

Our second time staying here and it’s always so beautiful. We love the nature, heated outdoor pools for our kiddos, complimentary yoga classes and kayaking . Just beautiful property! Only thing they didn’t have for both days we stayed was the complimentary coffee station at the lodge . They kept saying we have complimentary coffee in our rooms .

I want to say don’t come here because it’s so good. Probably safe from before being overrun though as it was not crowded. The restaurant, on the other hand, is very popular which can be a problem if don’t want to leave the property. Mixed blessing there but food and cocktails are extremely good.

We had a perfect time - we were transported to another land. Can't wait to return!

Dawn Ranch is aspirational and mechanical. It has the feel of an influencer property, with the distinctive flourishes and details in place to make it attractive and exciting. The facilities are clean, spare and modern. The fixtures are sufficiently cool with the edison bulbs. But the details makes it feel like the staff is going through the motions of hospitality. The hardware is there but the software is missing. For instance, our room was nice and clean if a little spare. The leather case for the tissue felt luxe. But details like the coffee station, only available was Splenda and a lot of it. Someone didn’t do the basic check to make sure sugar was there. Sure I could have asked, but I shouldn’t have to for day 1. The refrigerator was nicely stocked, but the shelves still had the tape on the shelves indicating it was installed quickly. The grounds were good, but you would see left over items from the plastic axe throwing after the board was taken away. We had breakfast in one of the side rooms after seating but we had to get our own silverware after not being able to get a servers attention. That said the silverware is high quality. Some nice things, the s’mores and the fire pits had a nice rustic feeling, the birdwatching offering including in the resort fee was great. In short flashy stuff but the heart is missing. Great in pics, decent experience but expectations not well set. Great location and solid.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and our room was not on the actual property but across the street.

Absolutely amazing! So tranquil and beautiful. It was a wonderful stay.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the newly revamped Dawn Ranch. Went for a couples weekend and did the cottage, spa, dinner. Cozy fun vibes. Reduced stars for cottage being a little cold/drafty (that’s me), spa being a little intense about the rules, and restaurant as well. They had to turn away sooooo many ppl without reservations so def make them for dinner! Free wine tasting and excellent masseuse a plus.

Great atmosphere and great property!

The property is beautiful and very well maintained! The cottage we stayed in was adorable and super clean! Only a 25 min drive along the Russian River to Goat Rock Beach! We’d definitely recommend staying here with a family and girl friends weekend! We enjoyed the atmosphere and gardens!

The property is meticulously maintained and has beautiful grounds. The staff is extremely helpful, and the spa is wonderful.

Overall it’s a really nice place. Room was very comfortable. A bit on the pricey side.

The property was beautiful and very peaceful. At the end of our stay they tried to charge an extra $135 for “resort fees” which was not indicated to me upon checkout. I asked what “resort fees entailed” and he said wifi and grounds keeping. In the end the fees were waved but not a very good experience upon checkout.
