I liked the room with full kitchen and coffee maker/cofee. Very spacious and clean. Staff was excellent and friendly.

Loved having the option of two bedroom/two bath apartment for our vacation. Also great views!

Room was beautiful. Code to get into the building did not work, code to get into the elevator did not work, but the code did let us into the room. No one at the desk. One towel for 3 people, went down, still no one there. Called the number for concierge, no one answered, after 20 minutes went to bed.

The apartment was perfect! It helps to have a full kitchen when staying over a course of days. The staff was amazing and catered to all our needs! We have found our DTLA spot!

Clean and convenient

Let’s start with the good: the staff were always friendly. Check-in was smooth, and we could go straight to the room thanks to the Sonder app. Now for the bad. On our first morning, we discovered that the toaster basically caused a fire—it completely incinerated the bread due to a malfunction. When we later tried to heat up a store-bought pizza, the oven didn’t work either. I reported the issue, and they said a technician would come by, but no one showed up. The following day, a technician finally arrived and said the oven needed to be replaced. I naively assumed it would be done quickly. But throughout our entire 6-night stay, nothing was done about the toaster or oven. As a result, we had to throw out food we had planned to cook—worth around $65. Not a single apology or compensation from Sonder Marriott. The area was loud and felt unsafe. Luckily, we had a room on the 11th floor; otherwise, we wouldn’t have gotten a wink of sleep. I do not recommend Sonder The Craftsman—paying guests are treated with total disregard and an uncaring attitude.

I really enjoyed the hotel, the rooms were big and spacious. The decoration and the industrial design was great. Everything looked really good. I really enjoyed the fact that there was a full kitchen on it. The only part that wasn’t good was the noise isolation. I could hear everything that was happening on the street and people moving chairs on other rooms. I wasn’t able to have a good night of sleep.

I loved this spot ! Loved being able to cook and it was definitely and apartment style. The downside is that they were protesting ICE in the area! Lots of loud explosions helicopters riots and police sirens. Also some of the people that worked there feared to get deported so they were short staff… they didn’t want to come to work so the security guard was the front desk receptionist lol overall I enjoyed the hotel

The space is quite nice! Soft lighting and softer pillows! A perfect space for a quick or extended stay!

The Sonder Apartment was fabulous! Clean, spacious, modern amenities. We were very happy to stay here.

This was our second time in Sonder the Craftsman. It is beginning to be our go to place when visiting LA. First is the location, very convenient and near to everything we go in DTLA. Second is for accommodating and friendly staff. And lastly, the room itself. Very clean, modern and fresh.

The code given made entering fast and convenient. Staff was friendly and the lobby and room was in excellent shape. We didnt hear much noise from others around us throughout the stay.

Beautiful place in a pretty ugly city

The room itself was wonderful. My only complaint was that the sirens throughout the night made it impossible to sleep/rest.

Big beautiful corner room, beautiful window, shades apartment like feeling super comfortable bed will definitely come back
