Second stay at this lovely hotel. Fantastic value for money. What I enjoy most is the peaceful location.

Great place and price (especially on weekdays). Ideal place if you want to fully relax and do a little bit of nothing :)

Slow service in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. No one on reception to check out in the morning.

What a beautiful place to stay. Our room was tasteful decorated and very comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous as is the surrounding area and walks. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was very much enjoyed. We'll be returning.

Lovely hotel. Warm welcome with helpful staff who even sorted my car charging for me. Off the beaten track (only 5 mins) but worth it. Great late rate.

Great setting in a quiet location. Friendly staff, lovely food, good choice of drinks, nice rooms, great sunrise over the water. All round excellent & i will definitely stay again

We had a great time staying Saltmarsh. The library was so comfortable. Nice to walk around the beautiful garden.

Great property, staff amazing and cant do enough for you. The room was good spacious, but no shower. On the other hand the bath was huge so didnt really have an issue about the shower! The must have been a leak at some point as you could still see the stains on the ceilings. But had an amazing stay and would come back.

Off the beaten track but well worth the drive on narrow roads. So peaceful, beautiful gardens, idyllic position. Very comfortable bed. Amazing food just wish we could have Stayed longer to enjoy the outdoor pool

Had a very enjoyable stay, the room was fantastic we had a suite with a huge bath tub, I am 6’ 3 so struggle to fit most tubs but this one had plenty of room for two! The trip was made even better by the lovely weather so we got full use of the hotel’s fabulous outdoor pool which was lovely so clean and warm too. All in all we had a great stay

My two night stay was very comfortable in well refurbished old Hall, food was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly.

This place is absolutely amazing!! Booked here in December 2023 for a little celebratory winter break with my wife. Upon arrival the customer service was outstanding and we was allocated our room in one of the wings which was comfy, Spacious and charming. The food both for dinner and breakfast was simply fantastic and not overly priced. We can’t wait to return for longer to have a really good explore.

My room was very hot. I didn’t feel the staff was very accommodating, or friendly.

Lovely hotel in beautiful setting. Some of the staff let the beautiful hotel down (surly receptionist on check out/ absent breakfast staff). Also there was no tea and coffee un the room (which would've been expected given the price). Food was good. Room service was good, although came with no condiments.
