A gorgeous Lakeland property with so much charm and character. Our room was very cosy and with a wonderful Mountain View. The guest lounge was a nice space to relax, as was the room. Breakfast was simply outstanding, the awards are well deserved! The hosts are very welcoming and made us feel very at home. A lovely break.

The breakfast was wonderful. The room was very, very small and several surfaces were not very clean. There was black mold around the base of the shower door. We had some helpful and some negative experiences with staff. We had to park on the street 3-4 blocks away from the property.

I have stayed in many B&B’s in Keswick and having just spent two nights at The Edwardene for the first time, this is now my favourite. We stayed in a twin room called ‘The Osprey’ and needed a very late check in, which was no hassle to the owners who made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean, bright, well furnished and had a lovely view of the mountains. The toiletries provided are locally made and were top quality. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were also provided with delicious Border Biscuits. I had Eggs Royale for breakfast and it was the best one I have ever had. I can also highly recommend the full English. The whole property from the outside to inside is exceptionally kept. It is just a 5 minute walk into the centre so is also a great place to stay location wise. Was able to easily park on a near by street. The whole experience was excellent value for money. Do not hesitate to book this charming bed and breakfast which is run by exceptional hosts. We will most definitely be back!

Really impressed with our stay. Lovely old hotel with a sort of faded grandeur. In the best possible way. Huge bed, great bathroom, excellent breakfast with daily specials as well as the usual suspects. Free parking on the road out front (if you can find a space). All in all a thoroughly enjoyable visit...

The Edwardene was a wonderful guest house. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The location was convenient for access to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was incredible!

Lovely place to stay ideally located for Keswick, about 5 mins walk away. Clean, comfy and got a good night’s sleep. Amazing breakfast too.

Thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at the Edwardene. The bed and bedding were top notch and I slept so well there. The shower also was great, as were the wonderful lemongrass-scented soaps, lotions, shampoo, body wash, etc. Breakfast options were plentiful and I also liked the lounge area on the 2nd floor with an honor system for coffee and other beverages. All staff were friendly and helpful - they were there when needed and attentive to any questions. It was such a restful and pleasant place to stay, and great location too. Highly recommend!

Short walk from Town Centre, great breakfast. Room clean but miner niggle in that it should have been a single room rather than double as despite the warning the beams were impossible to miss sometimes!

A wonderful little B&B. The bed and wardrobe were a little small but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a full sized bath and excellent powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Lovely selection of toiletries provided and tea/coffee making facilities. Delicious breakfast with plentiful options. Very central location - highly recommended.

Great location very quiet we found our room ( Heather )was very small with furniture over hanging the bed near to your pillow and you had to be very carefull when getting up in the night as the gap between the wardrobe and bed was very tight.

We stayed in the Osprey room, a double room, very nicely refurbished. The bed was king sized and quite comfortable. Breakfasts were fine with a nice variety of food offered.

We had the most amazing bank holiday weekend staying at this lovely B&B in Keswick! As two friends who love hiking, it was the perfect base for exploring the Lakes. The location couldn’t have been better – close to beautiful trails, stunning views, and the town centre for a well-earned meal after a long day out. The room was spotless, cosy, and really comfortable – exactly what you need after a day on the fells. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, giving us great tips on walks and local spots we might have otherwise missed. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight – fresh, delicious, and set us up perfectly for our hikes. You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel at home. We honestly had such a fab weekend and didn’t want to leave. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly place to stay in Keswick – especially if you’re planning some outdoor adventures!

Breakfast was freshly cooked and the apple juice and orange juice were lovely. The room was pristine and there was a kettle with plenty of tea and coffee. Everything screamed quality from the bedsheets to the towels to the bathroom toiletries. There was a gorgeous residents lounge with an honesty box with drink and snacks that was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend
