I was not aware of the aIcohoI free ruIe in the property untiI I read the house ruIes after booking, which meant I couId not enjoy a gIass of wine with my food. I was aIso disappointed with no kettIe in the room, which I thought was a bare minimum for pIaces these days. The shared fridge was aIso pretty fuII and I don't enjoy having to keep the food we brought in the car....I'd have a thought a smaII fridge in each room wouIdn't have put them out too much. That apart, it is a Pieasant enough buiIding. Not vaIue for me though. I wouId use it again, but I wouId not pay anything near the asking price unIess it was upgraded with a fridge and kettIe.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mossely Hill Retreat, the place was clean & quiet, room was nice and we loved exploring the surrounding area. Will definitely consider staying here again when in the area.

Great and very handy place to stay with good communication from the hosts.

Very old building and old style furniture. The shover tray is very small. The bathroom sink taps are too short and the hot and cold water split. The fridge is too small for the amount of people in the hotel. The room table is small and instable.

Very quiet and no TV so very peaceful.

We had a lovely stay at Mossley Hill Retreat the room was wonderful and a great location to explore Liverpool!

A very relaxing stay in a spacious and very peaceful large house, which was a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city centre. We didn’t have any problems at all. We appreciated how Alfie the very well behaved dog gave us the most adorable welcome!

This place is a hidden gem. Perfect for a lone female travelling for work. The building is gorgeous, rooms are a very generous size and spotless. I had a nice bubble bath after a long day walking around the docks in the rain and had a great night sleep in a comfy bed. Highly recommend!

very comfortable stay set in quiet surrounding .. a short walk from Rose lane and a bit further away buzzing Lark lane … perfectly situated to descover Liverpool

Very pleasant leafy area some 20mins walk to Railway station. Large mansion style house. Spacious room and bathroom and super kingsize bed. Newly carpeted. Did not meet any staff but administrator very considerate. Ive been staying in the area often these past 2 years and felt the place was a tad overpriced and disappointed about additional cleaning fee.
