Very late check in undesirable, parking confusing, cold during the night however electric heater provided

The hotel was conveniently located and we were able to take advantage of one of their reserved parking spaces. The room was clean and spacious and everything we needed was provided. We had an excellent cooked breakfast and the manager was friendly and helpful.

Advertised as licensed poperty when it isnt. One male receptionist seemed to be doing everything from welcome receptionist to cooking breakfasts, the latter not very good. Compared with our last visit the fabric of the property has declined.

We booked a couple of rooms for a family wedding at a venue close by. Overall, it was excellent value for money and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms were lovely and quiet and the breakfast was great. Very happy.

The staff member was excellent and extremely helpful. The hotel is in a Good position in Folkstone.

Email information prior to stay was excellent. Mismatch between hotels.com website information and hotel interactions. We expected to ‘pay at property’. Hotel demanded payment a day ahead over phone or booking would be cancelled. Then the card payment failed as they didn’t request correct security information so our bank wouldn’t authorise. (according to my bank) This resulted in three long and tedious phone calls to resolve. Despite the issue being on their side they put pressure on us to provide other cards details so they could try them which we were uncomfortable to do. When we checked in we had to decide on breakfast choice there and then. They also needed to know the exact time we wanted breakfast and phoned us multiple times to get this. It felt like a lot of pressure. Sadly, this overshadowed our stay and the nice touches such as help yourself to cake and refrigerated water available 24 hours seemed insignificant by comparison. Not somewhere we would return to in a hurry.

Very nice little hotel with very nice and friendly staff. Close walk to the beach. A little hot in the room but to be expected in the summer. There was a fan in the room to cool it down a little. Slept very well.

Absolutely loved our overnight stay at this lovely hotel. The service was excellent, great communication and as for the breakfast, well that was simply delicious. A perfect night away and much needed. Thank you both x

Great older property with lots of charm. The gentleman working the front desk was very helpful and kind. It was a bit warm on the top level (seasonably hot weather). but otherwise it was amazing, also lots of stairs to be aware of. The location was great and easily walkable to the sea!

The young man who checked us in was very polite and friendly. Our room was clean and the bathroom looked newly decorated. Breakfast was great - would certainly stay here again.

hotel was more of a B&B, however, the hotel is very clean, well appointed, comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent

Der kostenlose Parkplatz ist 500m entfernt. Zimmer war im 3. Stock, ohne Aufzug. Duschenwasser ist kalt, egal welche Uhrzeit. Fürs Frühstück muss man Tag zuvor eine Uhrzeit abgeben. Keine große Auswahl beim Frühstück.
