This is a beautiful old property, but understaffed and mostly vacant when we were there. The rooms are huge, a bit dated, but comfortable overall for our family. The hotel seems to cater to large wedding events, but when we were there it was quiet.

Beautiful property and good spa.

We stayed as our last night of travellig through Scotland, it was very peaceful and tranquil, the room was spacious and very clean, the staff were attentive and the food was top notch

We had an amazing overnight stay in one of the junior suites, the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was lovely and plentiful. My wife and I both used the spa facilities, which were excellent, special thanks to Vadka for the amazing massages. We would highly recommend the hotel and spa to anyone and look forward to our next trip.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was with a family member and the staff who checked us in was lovely. She took time to tell us what was available and let us take our time looking at the menu as we have certain dietary requirements. We had a great stay.

It was handy for the reason we were there the spa facilities made it more appealing.

Lovely hotel and room. Service really good. Pitty about the laundry truck arriving at 6.20am to load and unload for an hour right outside our room window

Overall stay was nice, however when cooking for our family the fire alarm went off 5 times. Causing fear and alarm due to the fan of the cooker not woking so no ventilation. The radiator fell off the wall when trying to turn the heating on... not to mention my 6 year old daughter running into the sitting room with a small bag with paraphernalia inside along side a mirror with white residue all over it. But the beds were comfy n kids loved the hotub.

Amazing we had been away on mimi moon & booked hotel last minute the staff amazing upgraded us. Welcoming attentive just a lovely warm feeling will definitely be back. Wish we had spent all our mini moon here. ❤️

We stayed in a pod which we hadn’t realised we had booked. It was warm and comfortable but not sure I would pay £100 to stay again. Staff were so nice, very warm, friendly and professional, the main hotel is absolutely stunning with a beautiful lounge with an open fire.

I stayed here one night and stayed in one of the pods. It was very clean and comfortable. I ate in the restaurants and the food and service was great. Definitely recommend

Absolutely 5 stars from us apart from some aspects of the restaurant,waiting staff in the evening fantastic,chef would not accommodate a small change to a meal .morning staff lovely apart from lady in black Bandana,really didn't want to be there and it showed ,one guy asked for 2 eggs and she bluntly told him NO , constantly huffing and puffing,this was the only part that let this place down.The guy on reception was fantastic .

Fantastic check-in with staff ensuring a meal, even although the restaurant had officially just closed. We were able to eat in the bar with our dog, essential after an 8 hour journey! The pod had all that we needed and we had a couple of good nights sleep. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
