This was a lovely place to stay, the staff were very attentive and helpful, breakfast was excellent - my only fault was the room was so hot - needs air conditioning. We asked for another fan, the staff accommodated us, but two fans going still didn’t cool the room.

The breakfast was above standard and fresh. Parking was easy. The staff were professional and friendly. The manager was very professional.

Rooms were nice but the dust on the headboard was thick. Hadn’t been dusted for a while.

Room was adequate, sadly it left a lot to be desired regarding cleanliness. The bottom of the inside of the wardrobe was thick with dust, as was the dressing table unit. One of the cups supplied for coffee hadn’t been washed properly. Although there was tea and coffee supplied there was no milk. The tv could only be switched on/off at the plug located on the wall behind the tv which was thick with dust too. Even the top of the peddle bin in the bathroom needed a good wipe. Bed linen was clean but mattress was lumpy and needed replacing. Most of the surfaces were clean on the top it just needed a good deep clean, shower screen needed a good clean too. The rest of the hotel was fine, clean stairs corridors etc. It was our room that let it down. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble from check in to check out, and the food and service were fine. Car parking was good

The bed was comfortable but not the pillows. The first night there was a noise which made it hard to sleep. The landlord said it was the plumbing. The mirror light in the bathroom didn't work. The landlord said he would replace the bulb but didn't. The food was ok. There were a large number of people staying there who like me were going to the Goodwood Members meeting. Despite this no effort was made to accommodate the times of the meeting. I asked if I could have breakfast at 8 am rather than 8.30 on Sunday morning and was given a flat no. No food was available on Sunday evening.

Nice and clean. Excellent rooms. Restaurant meals really great. Good breakfast. Staff very attentive. Housekeeping cleaned, tidied, replenished tea and coffee, folded left out clothes, very impressed. Excellent place to stay.

The room was clean, but it felt very outdated and had a rather institutional, old-fashioned feel that could do with modernisation.

Stay at this pub a couple of times a year and always enjoyable, you are made to feel at home the moment you walk in, thanks again!

This hotel is very clean relaxing if your looking for a few days of piece and quiet seams like your out in the county when it is really quite close to town food is wonderful free breakfast is amazing tea & coffee in rooms staff are wonderful very helpful and pleasant plenty of free parking over all an amazing place will go back without question

Clean and in good condition. Wi-Fi terrible but breakfast was first class and staff very friendly.

Nice rooms ideal for business trips check in was fine staff were friendly breakfast is only served between 8:00 and 9:00 so I would suggest they do a bed only rate as most people on business which judging from all the vans in the carpark most are have had to leave way before then !

Grat hotel, really enjoyed my visit will definitely stay again.

Easy parking, very welcoming staff, and breakfast was lovely - be nicer if music or radio was playing. Room nice, but cobwebs on lights where unsettling.
