we never used the bar but yes all shops nearby

Everything was very clean and tidy, and the food was delicious.

Smells of mold, no WiFi in rooms, below par breakfast, no water in rooms even. Would not recommend.

Stay was good as everything was good snd well maintained. Breakfast was also fresh.

We found room 103 had a shower door which wouldn't close and had a note saying so.Furniture tired .chipped and wardrobe doors failing.Portable heater broken .Radiators off .Only controlled from reception thermostat.Pillow on bed thick with dust.Took pillow and heater to reception.towel rail hanging off wall.Otherall paintwork tired.Needs renovation. Dust in corners ,stains on stool/pillows.No wifi in rooms only in reception. Bathroom very cramp.Spare blankets would have been a good addition for room. Staff and breakfast absolutely fine.View was great.

Room were not clean, bedsheets were not changed for the four nights of my stay. No refrigerator in the room.

Good hotel in good position breakfast was really good for a continental. Only thing WiFi is only in lounge but good value

It was nice stay at this hotel. Everything was good. Staff was nice to us. Just the thing is there was no option to reduce the heating in the room. Just need to work on that🙂

Convenient location for both shops and pier. Prime location for the promenade. I was fortunate to be given a room id requested, very spacious, lovely seaview, with a bath, albeit smallish, it was quite adequate. Bed was a little hard for myself but thats an individual taste, just bear in mind its two singles together, so you do feel the join in the middle. Nice to have seperate seating aswell. Found the staff very friendly. Breakfast was cereals, toast, fruit, yogurts and a choice of cooked eggs, made for ideal start to the day. I found the Iris hotel goid value for money

Shower did not work followed instructions on wall but nothing worked, Cobwebs everywhere, one light was hanging of the wall, For the price you pay i would expect a working shower at least, View was lovely bed was comfy pillows rubbish wouldn't book here again

No WiFi and very poor bathroom which leaked water. Staff wanted cash no cards which meant having to make trips to ATM as they apparently didn’t have working card machines. Very poor heating with radiators not working

Rather put off by the "rules of stay" as we checked in. No Children, no pets, no mobility scooters, no hot food in the room - to maintain cleanliness. Unfortunately, there was evidence of children in our room, hand prints on the wall. Walls had a number of what appeared to be coffee stains, and the light switch for the hedside light was mussing the actual swith allowing access to mains voltage!

The room was spotless staff very welcoming

Generally good. Clean room, bedding and towels. No working central heating but electric heater was provided Although bathroom/towels remained cold there was plenty of hot water. Staff were all lovely, courteous and helpful. Hotel in great location close to Venue Cymru which was the reason for my visit. As a coeliac I would have been pleased to see a natural yogurt provided as a breakfast choice but I was adequately catered for with eggs on gluten free bread. I would be more than happy to return. Overall A no frills but comfortable stay

The room was a good size. Beds were really comfortable and clean. Shower had some black mould that needs looking at. There was cigarette ash on the window sill from previous tenants. The room we stayed in was falsely advertised as a ‘separate annexe room’ when it was infact just a room on the ground floor which opened directly into the bar area. We were unfortunate enough to have two families drinking with young kids screaming and ipads at top whack until midnight which felt like they were in the room with us! Theres also some sort of loud machine directly underneath the room that randomly starts up and the chimney is right outside the window and goes into the room. Location is good, complimentary breakfast is basic but all you need really!

Room was clean, tidy and just what we needed for the night. Staff were wonderful and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely, a good start to the day.
