Everything was clean and cozy. Staff was excellent! Hotel was beautiful.

Room was quite small for the price, the rest of the hotel was nice. The bar was stunning too. Dinner was over priced. Breakfast was better, it was too rushed and overcrowded though and ended up waiting for ages to be served.

Delicious cooked to order selection at breakfast. Swimming pool a bonus with young children!

From the delicious food to the warm and helpful staff, our stay at Widbrook Grange was genuinely good. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly impressed.

Nice room

We had a dog friendly family room booked. It was very clea comfortable and warm. There was a lovely bag containing a treat, ball and dog walk information.

A very warm friendly welcome from Jenny on reception! A really lovely spacious family room, we couldnt fault it at all (they have thought of everything!) It had a huge bed with the most comfy pillows, tea and coffee, complimentary water and biscuits, and plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Lovely clean bathroom with the best fluffy towels! Jenny even went out of her way to find us a small fridge for our babies milk, and the travel cot was already set up with clean linen. The grounds were lovely, with lovely walks for the dog. And the full english breakfast was fantastic! The pool was nice and quiet. We couldnt find anything wrong with our stay!

Lovely staff, in reception and in bar and restaurant, garden salad was delicious, food generally was good. Great bar, so many different gins, but enjoyed the wines too. Room was the cheapest and so was small, but was comfortable and was out in the Piggery, a short step from the hotel itself.

Really comfortable room, great bed and bedding. Love the bathtub!

Loved our stay, beautiful location and the room was clear and very comfortable.

Arrived in the room which stank. Moved the rug from the floor to find an iron mark on the carpet. No ventilation into the bathroom which on a hot day was a smell of damp. Sofa bed mattress was vile stains all over it. Not very appealing. The rooms from the back of the property made it look something out of an American motel. Breakfast and dinner was nice with good service from the staff. Carpets in the hotel need a good change very old and dingy with tears and not very appealing. The swimming pool was nice, the internal walls need some tlc. Overall not a 3* in my opinion.

No check in or check out experience to speak of. Not told about he amenities Service from the bar / restaurant was excellent. Couldn’t do enough and very happy. Checked in at 9pm and key left on the side and no sign of staff. Checkout was a guy in reception who just took the key from my wife and didn’t really comment so my wife didn’t feel comfortable to say anything. Our room (No9) was very hot, hitting 26c at night at one point and was it was ground floor and looking into grounds where there was a bbq, couldn’t leave the blind open or open the window. Room was cramped. Well stocked with tea/coffee etc and the bathroom was nice. That was clean aside from mould spots on the ceiling. Bed was ok, aside from both wooden headboards were attached so every time you moved, it would whack the wall. The quality of the food was excellent, can see why people go there just to eat. The grounds are lovely, parking was easy.

Great room, lovely indoor pool, very relaxing, great bar and great service by friendly staff.

Food was excellent. Staff were excellent. Bedding, pillows and towels excellent quality. Comfortable bed. Furnishings quirky but needs better lighting and mirrors in bedroom and bathroom. Generally needs some TLC.

Falling apart isn't rustic, it's just broken. Dinning no wear near good enough for cost.
