So wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were extremely helpful. And we had the best fish and chips!

Well located with small car park at the rear, although we always managed to get parked there. We had a deluxe king room, very clean, large space and great shower. Not the cheapest hotel but all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel. 😃

The staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast menu and options were delightful and delicious. My husband recommends the Smoke trout and eggs. we loved the authenticity of our experience. The location was fantastic It was a very short walk to the ocean and we thoroughly enjoyed all the lovely people and their beautiful dogs. Very dog friendly town.

The room we had for 4 people was amazing, think it was room 2, it was for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 kids(age 8 & 12). The layout was lovely, a living area and a separate bedroom, the bed in the bedroom was great, really firm and comfy however the sofa bed wasn't, was definitely more difficult to sleep on, especially with 2 on it. That was the only fault you could pick with the room and hotel. Breakfast was brilliant, really tasty and amazing choice, kids chose from the menu first morning but then on the second they just went with cereal, croissants and the granola bowl and that was plenty. Cooked breakfast and avocado toast were delicious. Food in the hotel restaurant was top notch, we had dinner our first night, burgers and venison lasagne, wow. Staff were really nice and friendly and Alnmouth is a lovely little place to visit especially with proximity to Alnwick. The car park at the back was small and tight to get into but was ideal especially on arrival for making sure you could get cases up to the room. All in all a brilliant stay at a lovely hotel and we're already planning on heading back for another visit over the Summer!

Lovely room, very nice decor and

Easily the best accommodation of a four-day stay in Northumberland. Everything in the Whittling House makes your trip a little bit better, from lovely staff to beautiful decor, homemade shortbread for the rooms to the comfy armchairs in the bar. Definitely worth the more premium price!

Yes the room was clean, I don`t drink but the food was excellent.

Staff were all lovely and friendly. Room was nice, loved the shower- could get it ice cold and hot as required. Food amazing, best kippers ever.

The staff were super lovely. The Hotel was cosy and the design was stylish. My room was clean and elegant. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed in room 2. Room was spacious and well equipped Lovely furnishings. Staff were very accommodating and friendly which is so important. Great location Lovely little pub close by. Would definitely recommend!

Staff are so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and rooms are beautiful ly appointed.

The only down side of this hotel is lack of parking. Otherwise I can’t fault the place, everything of good quality. Staff really helpful and tentative.
