The prettiest location in Winchester right next to historical mill. Boutique like hotel, nice and warm. Recommend

Only disappointing aspect was there wasnt a designated room to store luggage safely. On drop off we were advised our bags would be placed in our room but were left in restaurant when we returned -and you cant drop bags til 12. No problem with room at all. On departure noone was around so agsin couldnt leave bags. I think only from 12 could we have left them yet checkout is 11. These aspects were very disappointing and we had to pay to use an alternative luggage store in the city

A fabulous find! Right in the heart of the city, only 7 min walk to the Cathedral and Winchester’s vibrant High Street. Comfortable, tastefully decorated room in complimentary style of the Japanese restaurant below. We will definitely be back!

Great, central location in Winchester with restaurants all around within 1-2 minutes walk. Great coffee machine, comfortable bedding and friendly and helpful staff. I also loved the addition of Monacle by reception! Great taste!

lovely location perfect for shops, very cozy room and staff friendly enough. the only down side was the terribly slow to non existent wi-fi, make sure you stay on 4g to avoid the frustration!! also there was a nice table lamp that had a 2 pin plug on that had no socket to put in..the promised help with this never arrived, overall though a delightful little hotel and will definitely stay again.

Lovely surprise! Our room was large, comfortable, and the decor was beautiful -- the photos do not do it justice. The location is perfect, right at the bottom of high street next to several historic sites and within easy walking distance of everything one would want to see in Winchester. The Japanese restaurant is fantastic. Make reservations as soon as you check in as it is not to be missed.

Room itself was clean and modern but because it's a listed building it's not sound proof and it is on a very busy road.

Hotelkamers boven een Japans restaurant. Personeel alleen tijdens restaurant aanwezig. Ruime kamer goed voor enkele dagen maar niet langer

the room was very clean and spacious, lovely rain shower. check in was easy in the restaurant below and the staff were really helpful. there is a separate door for guests in the rooms so you can let yourself in at any time of day/night. a small outdoor space. car park very close by and reasonably priced. no charge on Sunday. very convenient for walking into town. would definitely stat again if i return to Winchester, which is a fabulous historic town

Quirky japanese feel. Lovely rooms. Super massive bed.

Very nice place, great location, we had room by the road at the front so it was quite noisy but its an old building so this has to be expected. There is no breakfast and the restaurant was open until about 10:30. As long as you know about this its a great place. Ive stayed in a several places in Winchester and so far this was the best.

We will visit again.

My room was exceptional. Beautiful and tastefully decorated with lovely Japanese prints. The room was huge! with lovely chairs and a very very comfortable bed. A very high quality coffee machine. Lovely clean bathroom with an excellent shower. I cannot fault this place. Exceptional value for money. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had another great stay at Kyoto Rooms. Very good value for money and staff waited for me when I had to do a late check in - thank you! The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Only downside is that the busy road outside can be noisy in the morning if you’re a light sleeper.

This is a smart Japanese restaurant that has rooms above. Pros: the accommodation is very nice - our room was spacious, well maintained, beautifully decorated and warm, despite the single glazed window (due to being in Conservation Area probably). Really great location near High Street, 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Cons: as above, the window means noise from outside. Don't offer breakfast. Overall, recommended.

Fabulous property in a good location. Room was hige and really cosy didnt want to check out, will definitely be back!

The room is very spacious and clean, location is super convenient and very close to a public parking thus it’s highly recommend for driver. I’ll definitely book again for my next visit.
