Nice accomodation, comfortable, clean, quiet. Friendly and efficient staff. Would consider staying again

Room was good new. I was in one that was quiet had no issues. Only issue was being thrown out the pub at closing time without any warning of last orders or consideration that we were hotel guests. Left to finish our drinks outside

Ive been to dinner here but never stayed - needed last minute accommodation and was pleasantly surprised - didnt realise the reception was there

As always have a great stay here, room was amazing apart from a few issue, which were sorted .

We have been before and it is very good and the rooms are bigger than average. Stay friendly and the food is good. Just what we wanted.

The Berkshire Arms was perfect - welcoming, clean and my room beautifully presented. Will definitely stay again.

Good room, bfast options good, anemic sausages only down side. Bfast timings could be earlier than 7am due to location and requirement to drive to place of work.

Room was modern and well maintained - good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits

No issue other than we were given a room set up for someone using a wheel chair. Sink was tiny and very close to floor for an able bodied person.

Room was very clean and spacious enough for what we needed . Food was good in the restaurant, breakfast was very good .

The Berkshire arms is a lovely place to stay, the food is great and the staff are the cherry on top! They have been so friendly and helpful during my stay.

There was no breakfast with our booking yet it was advertised with breakfast the Sunday before and yet we paid nearly £10 more for our booking.

I was only staying overnight but I was very comfortable - I am over 80 and disabled so that was very important. The only problem was that although I thought I had booked an accessible room I hadn't so it is important to talk to the reception team - who swiftly corrected that and found me an accessible room within a few minutes. I didn't like the AI receptionist who answered the phone but she is easily sidestepped by just insisting 'Manager' and you get put through. The dinner was very good.

great hotel and bar however the drinks are very expensive and the chef can not cook for toffee. 2 night stay first night uncooked gammon sent back and the second night i was served 2 uneatable steaks. sad as this is a lovely venue and the front of house staff very helpful and accommodating
