Such a lovely building. Lots of traditional features but rooms are modern, clean and fresh. Our room had a small balcony, one of two in the hotel. Most attractive restaurant and courtyard. It has a gastro dining experience and the restaurant seemed very popular with local visitors but plenty of room. Breakfast had a good variety, continental but cheese and hams with everything you would expect. More than filling. The staff were very friendly and obliging. We loved every aspect of this hotel and my only reservation we ould be that whilst it was a great location for us for exploring the area, you absolutely need a car, it is quite remote. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The staff was amazing. They made the visit wonderful. The hotel was clean, comfortable everything it was advertised to be. Note to the owner, please be kind and patient with all your staff, they are wonderful, work very hard and never talk about you.....

Place is unique and very well kept. Pictures do not do justice. Above all Pielagos has the friendliest people in the world

Lovely property in a quiet location but drivable into Santander.

Estancia maravillosa, sin duda para repetir. Tanto las habitaciones como las instalaciones del hotel son geniales. Antiguo palacio reconvertido en pequeño hotel con muy buen gusto. El desayuno fantástico y recomiendo el restaurante, se come de maravilla! Y las chicas de recepción un encanto!

Un buen lugar. En las fotos salieron unas habitaciones preciosas Si hubiera que poner un "pero" fue que no había bombilla en la lámpara del cuadro y que el agua de la ducha a veces te quedabas helado.

Run by a lovely, attentive family. Bit off the beaten track but that's one of its charms and well worth the trouble. Beautiful hotel, exquisite room and the best breakfast we had in three weeks of travel through Italy, France and Spain!
