Had a very unique vibe, felt like staying in someone's cozy home. Loved the self check-in/check-out process, Very quiet as well. Great stay!

Nice, historic ADK cure cottage. Large porches and privacy. Within walking distance of downtown.

Totally what I expected. The property has a great story. Nothing fancy but I did not expect it to be and I did not want it to be. Super clean. Friendly staff. Low price. Felt very comfortable and secure. Will definitely go again and again.

John is very personable. It would be helpful to have internet and passwords in the rooms (added to the guests notes sheet?), and listed in the front “coffee” room. Otherwise, quiet and comfortable. It may be challenging, though, to reach someone if there is a problem.

Place was perfect for weekend visiting son at college. Wish we had more time to stay & explore. John was a great host. Will stay again!

Arrived to the Prescott House between 3 and 4 pm; booking stated to show ID and alert staff to arrival. Discovered notes left; remove shoes at door!! Not to wear shoes inside....spoke with other 'renters' - they never received emails or information either. Rooms were open with keys in doors, just take the key out and lock the door. We did find and speak with a staff member on site, no information given except that I should have received an email fully disclosing everything. Never received the email; explained that to staff - he said it was probably sent after I checked my email. (Checked again after talking with him, still no email) received an additional bill on my credit card for $13. - Not quite sure what that was for! I thought parking was free, and we didn't drink any of the coffee in the front room. Cameras every where on site, in hallways, entry way, and watching our shoes - so I knew our foot wear was safe! Just an odd experience.

Great alternative to a hotel. Sharing a bathroom was fine-never an issue. Clean and comfortable, affordable setting with interesting history. Not posh or luxury and would strongly recommend!!

Was an amazing time. The only thing is the bed was very uncomfortable

Had a wonderful stay! The host was great—friendly, responsive, and ensured everything was perfect. The place was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. It also handled heavy snow well, making it a safe and comfortable stay even in harsh weather. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The Prescott is a gem! Incredibly nice friendly host!!! Cozy & comfortable & full of character. I highly recommend this wonderful place!
