Small rooms and mediocre breakfast

Everything was good except two things: 1) the freaking internet didn’t work in the room. So, we had to go to the kitchen to connect to the internet. 2) too close to a bust narrow road.

The room was clean with great AC. Bathroom was also clean and the property was good for a night stay closer to the airport. Breakfast was included !

Huge equine ooped all over our car everyday they also ran around the tin roofs all hours making noises and keeping us awake and on top of that huge mangos fall out of the trees you park under hitting your cars and splattering one staff member had her window broken out these mangos hit the tin roofs and you would think someone was attacking you in the middle of the night! We want stay again for this reason.

The window in the room is frosted which IMO is absurd, especially in a place as beautiful as CR. I asked for a different room and was told all the rooms have just one window that is completely frosted. I don't mind a small room, but a small room without an actual window isn't tolerable for me. I asked for a refund and was told no, so I said I would post this bad review. They responded with a sarcastic, "Thanks". I found a much, much better place to stay even though I had to pay their bill. This was my only bad experience in Costa Rica.

Ocotal B&B is a clean and well maintained small hotel. It's a few minutes from Ocotal beach and close to Coco. Geldy was very nice and friendly to us. She helped us get wonderful tours and with transportation included. Also, the breakfast is great and the lady that makes it is so nice.

Staff were very helpful and very nice. Breakfast was the same every day, but very delicious. Good air conditioning in the rooms.

Great stay

Stand were very lovely and helpful during our stay! Very welcoming to any questions. We got a free upgrade to a larger room which we very much appreciated. The a/c was wonderful after long days. Very clean. Only a 10 minute drive from coco and a 10 minute walk from ocotal beach. Such a lovely place to stay!

Convenient option with AC and comfy bed, the shower was leaking so a bit messy but all good, we appreciated the breakfast.

This place is great! It’s in a prime location, the room is clean, and the breakfast is delicious.
