Amazing property, very clean, great staff

A must stay in Costa Rica! One of the most tranquil, romantic, and beautiful places we’ve ever stayed! The personal and small touches made all the difference! This is a boutique hotel where the staff all truly care for guests and one another. Valery, Fiorella, Issabella, and all the ESH staff were so lovely and welcoming. Danny, Francisco, Froylan, and all the staff at Almar were amazing, and the food and cocktails were terrific! The rooms are all private and have amazing amenities. It is close to Guiones and they offer shuttle service to all the local locations. Further, they provided many food and activity recommendations off site. Overall, it was the highlight of our trip, and will be recommending ESH to anyone who plans to travel to Costa Rica! Pure Vida!

This is a great hotel to stay in if you just want to lie around in the sun but not eat

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms and property are absolutely beautiful. The amenities are top notch and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good highly suggest the typical Costa Rican breakfast. My only note would be that I wouldn’t eat dinner there. It was overpriced for what you got. The tuna was poorly cooked and the octopus was chewy. I really enjoyed the burger, poke bowl, and mocktails they had. Overall it has a Michelin key for a reason and you will reach a level of relaxation you only hope to achieve at other hotels.

For the money, ESH is a great deal. Very upscale, quiet, and the entire staff will accommodate every need or request at all times. It’s not on the coast, but rather up the hill about 5 minutes from town and the beach. Town is a happening place whereas ESH is simply peaceful. Best of both worlds.

Pool and staff are amazing!!

Excellent! Beautiful premises. Loved the pool and dining areas. The staff may have been the most accommodating staff I have encountered, no joke. Big shout out to Leia as well for her help making my Live Stream happen. Wow!

Ganske fornuftigt hotel. Restauranten er ikke noget specielt og drikkevarene er ekstremt dyre f.eks. 12 dollar for en flaske vand med brus.

Room was really beautifully designed. When you walked in it had the most amazing smell. The bed was huge, with super soft and crisp white sheets, ac was quiet. We had the best sleep of our lives here! Staff was super welcoming. The grounds were lush green and the overall vibe here was relaxing, which is what we were looking for.

Highly friendly staff, very beautiful and well-maintained facilities, delicious food as well as yoga in the morning — all in all, a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Esh was a really lovely place to spend my time in Nosara. The staff were beyond friendly and courteous, making me feel super welcome and taken care of. The rooms and design of the resort are beautiful, and the way they preserved the jungle and built around it creates a really beautiful and peaceful space. I will definitely be back again. Thank you so much to everyone at Esh for making my stay so lovely.

This hotel was wonderful. Nestled in the jungle, the minimalist architecture and stylings encouraged contemplation. The services were top notch, the support outstanding, the beds comfortable and the facilities high quality. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and filling - it was included but was easily worth $25 per person minimum. The yoga classes were very good, the sauna and cold plunge available all day, and the staff super friendly. Thanks for an amazing stay, we hope to be back!
