Great little motel, convenient location off the highway, and only a 5-10 minute walk into downtown Bobcaygeon. The room is spacious, clean, and we found the fridge and microwave so convenient. Desk person is so nice. Easy parking. We’d happily return.

The Staff members were lovely and helpful, hard working people. Unfortunately, this building is just too old and decrepit - any work they could do is like putting lipstick on a pig. Add to that, Bikers’ Fest in Bobcaygeon! Every room & parking space was packed with party people & loud music. Not nasty people; just there to party. And…it took 2 Staff visits to get the TV functional. It was an experience!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Dated motel but for 1 night, did the trick.

I have no issue with hotel rooms with run down, tacky furniture - especially when the price is right - but there is no excuse for the room being dirty. Although the hosts were friendly, they need to change how they clean. And if they can’t get the gross dirt off the cabinets and furniture - replace it! If we weren’t just using the room to sleep, I would have left and found a way to seek my money back from Expedia. At least sheets were fresh and soft. I just didn’t enjoy the feeling that I needed to keep my shoes on when walking around the room. And I definitely did not use any of the drawers and cupboards to unpack my belongings.

Beds were comfortable and bedding clean but the floor made our feet dirty in no time. Bathroom floor around the toilet bordered on disgusting and very little water made it up to the shower head, particularly the cold water, making setting the temperature tricky. Streaming TV was constantly buffering and available channels were limited. Staff was difficult to understand and the office smelled of curry. Wifi was decent. Needed to drive into downtown for shopping and restaurants. A server in town told us that the motel had been improved recently but more needs to be done. It's affordable but we'll stay elsewhere next time.

No shops near by and no spa either very small and basic I found the room crowded and the service was terrible

Breakfast room was unfinished; food was sparse, chose not to eat there. Property run down. Town itself was nearby and cute. Ate breakfast at Day Break Cafe and dinner at Just for the Halibut. All restaurant staff friendly and fun and the woman at the British Shoppe was very pleasant and helpful.

Stay away from this place! Awful experience with checking in. The person in the office kept asking if I was someone else despite holding my ID in her hand with my name on it. Hotel stated I didn’t have a reservation so I had to show her my hotels.com app and then she gave me a key to the room. I was unable to properly communicate with the person due to a language barrier. Upon entering the room, it was dusty and extremely outdated with damage to some of the furniture. The carpet was stained and didn’t appear to have been vacuumed. The room was freezing. We were unable to locate a thermostat but there was a space heater and an electric fireplace in the room. I turned those on but then the electricity went out. When I went to the office to let the hotel know, there was a sign posted stating the office is closed for an hour. Without being able to turn on any heat (it was in the 40s that day) and having no lights, we decided to leave and request a refund. The hotel lied to the hotels.com representative and stated we never checked in so I have not received the refund.

As someone who travels frequently and usually stays in small town motels this was a disappointment. I was here for about 10 days and my bedding was not changed once. No one was in our room for the first 5 days we were there I had called the front to ask if they could clean up the room as the garbage was starting to pile up. They said they just cleaned it and when I got back to the room the took the garbage and left fresh towels not put away but left folded in a pile on the chair. The floors have lots of dirt and sand on them as it was raining lots and sandy. The floors got swept on the 8th day this was after I went out and bought a broom because it was terrible. They did make the bed that day but they did not change the sheets and I know this because there was still sand in my bed when I got into it. Now I would expect this at a very cheap run down motel but it was 150.00 a night. Also the internet was so spotty that you could not stream on the tv. If this was not the only option fine just watch cable but there wasn't any. Truly a poor experience all around. We are working in the area and the other 2 guys shared my sentiment. I would not stay here again. Not for the price anyways.

I arrived late last night. The owners were so kind, they turned the heat on and made things very comfortable for when I arrived. The room is so clean it has a lovely wardrobe lots of drawers for clothes and beautiful white linens. Super clean! Way better than many holiday inn expresses that I have stayed in.

There was no breakfast. Dusting and sweeping floor in bathroom apparently not on the agenda Beds; mattress comfortable; scarcity of pillows and no support from them The staff were polite and friendly

It was a little further out than we had anticipated, but the property was nice.

Room was generally clean Tv didnt work. Wifi was almost non-existent. Breakfast was advertised but breakfast room was also non-existent. Sign on door said it was open but was dark and had only tools etc. Someone had left frozen fish in the freezer in the room so it had obviously not been completely cleaned.blowdryer was also supposed to be present so i didn't bring one with me and there was no blowdryer. No one was in the office at 9am to checkout. Parking lot was treacherously icy.
