Our room was in converted old brick outbuilding along side the pub car park. The room was large comfortable and very clean. Great location for town and sea front with benefit of on site parking. Very good value - no breakfast but many nearby options. The pub itself had a great range of beer and ciders. The only slightly disappointing thing was the lack of a fan in the room as we stayed on one of hottest days in the year - but overall would be very happy to stay again when we are in the area.

Received a friendly welcome. Staff were very helpful. Accommodation was small, but had everything I needed. It was clean and tidy. As I was staying for a week, a small fridge was installed, which was ideal. Free parking a bonus. Only downside was because it is next to the pub garden, it can be a bit noisy in the evenings. After pub hours it is quiet. The pub is an old traditional pub serving good range of beers and ciders at reasonable prices. I would definitely stay here again.

Really lovely break away with my mum. Room really spacious, comfy beds & very clean. The pub offers free parking, very friendly, helpful bar staff and cannot fault at all. Thank you for a memorable stay 😊

We used the Red Lion as a base for a weekend break. The accommodation was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We could park right outside the room (so easy to carry our luggage to the room). Main meals were excellent but no Breakfast, but then again you are five minutes from many cafes. Bar was good. We will go back there in the future.

Parking at back behind pub. Easy check in. Lovely helpful staff. Clean room, comfy beds. Only recommendation is about the doors- our opposite neighbour went in and out a lot during the night and doors were very noisy as they stuck slightly so had to slam them. Otherwise lovely stay.

The room we had was jus perfect for us ,clean,everything in the right place. The staff are so helpful Turk,Zoe and Cameron cant do enough for you.I stayed with my grandchildren and they love the place .welll done .Thank you for making our stay really special

Nice old pub in town, good sized room with fridge, in separate block at the rear. Landlord very helpful and pleasant, happy to let us leave the car in the car park for the morning whilst we explored after checking out. Would happily stay again.

Booked at the last minute and was unsure what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised, the room was clean, nice bed and huge bathroom (actually a wetroom). Pub was great too!

We liked the easy way to get into town and all the amenities We weren’t impressed with the garden cleanliness and all needed a bit of clean and TLC
