The pool was great as were the staff.

The room was wonderful and cleaned very well daily. The staff was very helpful and the property was beautiful. There was a lot of sargassum on the beach which they occasionally cleaned but that is nature.

We loved our stay at Zamas. Our five-person family were very comfortable in a family suite and we loved that the front door opened up to sand, coconut trees and hammocks. The bar/restaurant has a beautiful view right on the water and the bartenders/waiters are very friendly. The only thing that could have been better was if the beach were swimmable. The amount of sargasso was overwhelming. There is no way hotel staff could have cleared the beach, even if they tried. I think our stay was in peak sargasso season. Despite that, we could have stayed much longer at Zamas. It’s a great place to return to while exploring the Tulum area.

Our room was on the beach. It was heavenly. Total privacy in our little 'hut". PERFECT.

We stayed in the Casa Vallejo villa on the hotel property. It was awesome having the privacy and space of the villa, but the amenities of the hotel. Daniel and Fernado who run the hotel were amazing and took care of everything we needed. They set up massages for our group and a yoga class and connected us with a boat excursion that was great. We ended up eating a lot at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not the best in Tulum, but it is hard to complain when everything else is great.

I could say endless nice things about this hotel, truly! My room opened right onto the beach and the view was breathtaking. Being able to roll out of bed every morning with a cup of coffee and sit in my hammock was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond. The food at the restaurant was great and the view exceptional. The pool was also great as a second swimming option. And get the massages! They set ours up on the upper floor of one of their vacant suites. We got a beautiful view of the ocean and a gentle breeze. The masseuse was amazing. I don’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed. If you’re into birds, there were so many to see just chilling on the beach. Off the top of my head we saw grackles, plovers, swallows, cormorants and pelicans. 10/10 no notes.

Overall atmosphere was excellent for a restful, fun filled vacation. Everything was clean, quiet, relaxing, rustic as a tropical island beach should be. Access to and from Tulum Airport, Maya Tren, ADO shuttle buses, the Jaguar Park, ruins, beaches, cenotes, and town center were very convenient. Every member of the staff at the restaurant, front desk, and room cleaning were very friendly and polite, and very quick in attending to my needs. Daniel at the front desk was very accommodating and informative.

A lovely hotel all round. Good position for shops, beach, ATM etc. Very nice bungalow on the beach (especially after free upgrade), excellent service staff. This hotel was a real 'find' and very good value for money. Note though we did not use the pool as it was less accessible to our room.

We loved everything here. The owner is absolutely amazing and on site great place for a quiet romantic getaway.

Amazing huge room upstairs accross the street with ocean views from all windows! Very romantic and cool. Fabulous vibe. Danial at the front is so personable and helpful. He helped us plan everything The restaurant is yummy with views that go on forever. Overall lovely experience.

Zamas Hotel has a beautiful beachfront location and a relaxed, charming vibe. The staff were friendly and my room was clean and comfortable.I had a great stay and would definitely return.

Perfect location, excellent staff. Has its own little cove. Restaurant has delicious fresh options. Highly recommend!
