Tv broken. Bathroom missing any plugs,

I really enjoyed my stay friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Nothing flashy, decor a bit tired but pristine clean sheets and very comfy bed. Towel pure white and fluffy but only one small bath towel per person.

Another enjoyable stay at Langfords! The receptionists are always friendly, my room was clean, quiet and newly refurbished. I'm looking forward to my next stay!

Upon arrival we were just given a key with no real booking in procedure. However when we entered the room it was clear we had not got we paid for. There was no fridge, the curtains were hanging off the rails in places and when you came out of the bathroom the vacuum caused by opening the door caused the loft hatch to jump up and then bang back down. We asked where the fridge was and that we had paid for a Deluxe balcony room to which we were informed that the booking had come through just as a double room. Lucklily I had the booking confirmation on my phone and the correct room was then immediately given to us. This room was excellent, clean, access to a small balcony which was wonderful to be able have the doors open to get fresh air. Only down point was although the shower was nice and powerful the bracket on the wall was not adjustable so the water went passed the end of the bath making the floor wet. There is a private medium terrace garden which has seating, although we did not use it, it would be a nice place to relax in. It would seem the owners have not been in situ long and are slowly bring the hotel up to standard. All the staff were very helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble. I would definately stay there again in the deluxe double with balcony.

Hotel with decent for the price we paid, could do with some freshening up, staff very friendly and helpful, Parking right outside free through the night which is also a huge bonus in the middle of Brighton

The hotel is well-located near the beach, but cleanliness is lacking; there is no housekeeping service. The room has no refrigerator—only a kettle—and the cups were broken. It is overpriced for what I paid.

I stayed at the Langford Hotel for one night and, honestly, couldn't wait to check out the next morning. I booked a single room (507, second floor). As I walked upstairs, I immediately noticed how warm the hotel was and how dirty the carpets looked. The room itself was also extremely hot. Thankfully, I could open the window and there was a fan, but when I placed it on the bedside cabinet, I noticed the cupboard door was hanging off. There was also what appeared to be a hole in the wall, making the room feel poorly maintained. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was incredibly claustrophobic. The shower itself was the worst part of the stay. The water was mostly freezing cold, but when the hot water did kick in, it became scalding hot with no warning. Combined with the very poor water pressure, it made showering and washing my hair frustrating and uncomfortable. There was also no plug in the sink. After my shower, I used the smaller towel to mop up the water on the floor. When I picked it up, it was black underneath, showing just how dirty the bathroom floor was. For £130 a night, I wasn't expecting luxury, especially given the hotel's location within walking distance of the seafront. However, there's a big difference between basic and dirty. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance and unusable shower made this a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel.

If you need a clean, bare bones place to stay, it works! Otherwise I would suggest another location!

Good for a short stay and did have a few bugs but nothing crazy and staff was helpful with figuring out parking

Staff very welcoming. Room was clean and larger than expected, very close to where i needed to be.

The hotel interior is very tired and in need of a deep clean. And the furniture has seen better days. The bed had no headboard and oily hand prints could be seen on the wall where the headboard should be. The shower worked okay but the shower screen and bath sealant were dirty and worn. The carpets in the hall were very dirty and the door to our hotel room had obviously been prised open a few times in the past due to the damage visible around the door frame and lock. Staff were polite and offered help voluntarily. There were delivery drivers using electric bikes in the reception area which was odd, and probably explained the dirty carpets. The balcony was fine and offered a view of the sea down the end of the street.

Føler meg lurt. Scam. Kommer tre timer etter vi kunne sjekke inn. Resepsjonisten må da "bare oppnå se over rommet en gang til". Vi får ikke lov å bli med opp. Føler noe ikke stemmer og går gjennom rommet. Fikser ganske kjapt biller, vegger. Resepsjonen sier de skal refunde pengene men det må desverre gå gjennom hotels.com. De ber oss få Hotels.com til å kontakte dem. Hotels.com gjør det men hotellet svarer ikke på telefon eller mail. Måtte overnatte på annet hotell og fikk aldri pengene igjen. De svarer heller ikke på sms. Hold dere langt unna dette hotellet.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel, especially for families with children. The hotel is extremely dirty. The rooms and common areas are not properly cleaned, and the overall standard of hygiene is unacceptable. The reception staff do not respond to complaints or requests for help, which makes the situation even more frustrating. The main entrance door was left open all night, which means anyone could enter the hotel at any time. There was no security or staff monitoring who was coming in or out, making the place feel very unsafe. To make matters worse, during the night there was someone sleeping under a bedsheet on one of the sofas in the lobby. This was extremely disturbing and completely unacceptable for a hotel. Overall, this hotel is dirty, poorly managed, and does not provide a safe environment. I would definitely not recommend staying here, especially if you are travelling with children.

Great for a night out. Took forever to use TV. Very strong scent of something funky. Took 6 flight of stairs to get to room.. which we dont enjoy so much of. Other than that price is fairly good for the room and excellent location.

Dirty- first room had window wide open and as soon as we walked in crackhead jumped out then we hesitantly got loved and that room too bad an open window but atleast it was 6 floors up. Hairs on bathroom wall and bedroom, there was no sheet on the bed just a cover used to cover the bed which was barely covering it. Glasses and mugs dirty- toilet stink and had some particles still in there. It looked rough and run down. Couldn’t sleep as felt unclean and as if I would get bitten by bed bugs or catch something. It reeked of paint too as soon as you got in the room, it looked outdated and worn out especially the bathroom- I get that it’s a budget place but I’ve had better for way less & didn’t feel like I would get ill after. Tv not working just turned on and kept trying to update and it was soooo noisy could hear everyone and anyone through the walls! Just absolutely terrible ffs
