A lovely overnight stay en route to Norfolk. Arrived during a heatwave so the pool was very welcoming! Lovely BBQ and the chef was brilliant with fish option. Would definitely recommend.

Our welcome at reception was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean but basic. The shower was nice and strong but there was no handrail to get in and out and it was quite slippery. There was not a rubber mat either. Breakfast was really good, I should have had for the small breakfast as the normal English breakfast was huge. The weather was lovely so we were able to sit outside which was nice. We were going to a wedding at Down Hall Spa and the Hunters Meet is only a 3 minute drive away so really handy. Lovely walks nearby. Only negative thing I can say is that the whole hotel is a bit tired looking and a bit dated and could do with some money being spent on it, otherwise a good base. Lots of parking too.

We had a warm welcome. Our room was quite basic but clean and the shower was nice and strong, there wasn't a hand rail to get in and out though and it was quite slippery. Breakfast was very good and the staff were all very nice and friendly. The weather was lovely so we were able yo have our breakfast outside, which was nice. Plenty of parking spaces and nice walks nearby. Would definitely stay there again
