Great check in - we had asked two days before if we could collect the keys earlier but warned the room might not be ready -but it was! Fabulous room, amazing bathroom - shame no time to try the bath! Great choices for breakfast BUT very squashed service area - really would benefit enormously from a bigger better layout to prevent queuing and being able to reach all the areas. The cereal was too high yus to reach!!

Everything good. Only minor issues were the shower had no hooks or shelves to put shampoo or shower gel or flanels/scrubbing. And the cooling fan in our room was super noisy, so couldn't be used. As I say, minor.

Nice enough room but patio not looked after outside our room. BFAST ok but very basic. Bar staff ok but not a great choice of real Ale. Food very pricey.Will not be back

The property was really well located, checkin quite early, with no problem from there side. The room was really clean, bed was good, bathroom had everything and loved the shower. Tom was really helpful, informative, gave us a bit of history of the building, which was fascinating. Included Breakfast was simple, but very good, and you could have ordered from the kitchen at an extra cost. Will definitely recommend.

Like the location, easy to get around the costwolds. The staff were nice and polite. Didn’t like the bed at all! 2 nights of bad sleep. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The door to our room was very difficult to secure, the lock not working properly. Continental breakfast was good and plenty of choices.

We booked The Stag as a last minute stop on our way back from Cornwall to Hull and honestly we couldn’t have chose a better stop off point! The staff were lovely and helpful, able to answer our questions and the food was divine. A little bit on the pricier side but was absolutely worth every penny. The kids loved the outdoor area, so much though it was a struggle to get them to come back in! The continental breakfast included was also very enjoyable and set us up for the long day ahead. The room was clean, well thought out and the complimentary items were appreciated. Thank you again for making our stay enjoyable!

We stayed here prior to an event at the Motot Museum. Theming was fantastic, food was very good, rooms were clean and well equipped and staff were very welcoming and helpful. We have already recommended this place to many of our ‘car friends’ at the show today. Will be back!!

The room was incredibly spacious and well equipped. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bar and food choice was good. Breakfast consisted of a reasonable choice of continental options. Cooked breakfast was available for an additional charge and was nice but limited.

Excellent options ten minutes outside of Stratford with free parking. Lovey staff, comfortable rooms and excellent continental breakfast

Our room was small and close to a busy road so if you are a light sleeper it might not be for you. We had everything we needed and it was very clean!

Really lovely stay and well located in terms of travelling into Stratford. Continental breakfast was ample for us all and the food the night before was delicious.
