My only gripe isn’t the cottage owners fault but that of hotels.com as this properly was listed as reserve now pay on arrival but the money left my account within seconds of booking. Hotels.com excused this by saying it’s in the terms and conditions but don’t advertise as such! The cottage itself is lovely, very off road location and I was worried about my tyres on the way there but all was fine. The farmers next door are lovely and their farm dogs were friendly and curious. Our poodle enjoyed his stay and liked having a bit of space to roam behind the fence. Everything that we needed was there.

The hot tub was fantastic and inside which was great, lovely and relaxing. The cottage was really beautiful, upside down which I loved. Very peaceful, but there were mouldy patches around the base of the shower and we noticed a few cobwebs. We couldn't find a bowl for use in the microwave. Just a couple of small niggles really. We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely couple of days.
