Lovely hotel about 10 min from DT Victoria. Hotel itself was well maintained, charming, updated with electric vehicle chargers, and honestly a 5 star oasis.

Gorgeous property in a residential neighborhood in Esquimalt. Beautiful rooms, spa, restaurant and bar. Great food and I had the best massage and facial at the spa. Outstanding. Timothy in the restaurant is a truly outstanding server. We will return!

Rosemead House is an unexpected hidden gem in Esquimalt. Exceptional customer service from all staff members the moment we arrived, the thoughtful and elegantly appointed rooms and grounds seamlessly mixing the old with new, and food that will rival the best of the best anywhere...Rosemead House was the restorative and inspiring holiday we needed. We were able to leave the car our second day, and make the short walk to West Bay where we hopped on the water taxi to downtown Victoria, it made exploring a breeze. Already planning our return!

Absolutely amazing experience at Rosemead House. It is like stepping into a magical wonderland. Beautiful property, building, rooms, restaurant. Delicious breakfast in an adorable setting. We weren't able to have dinner at the renowned restaurant, but will definitely go back again to enjoy that experience which is supposed to be sensational. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Rosemead and can't wait to visit again!!

This is one of my all time best hotel experiences, anywhere. The property is stunning, the food is delicious, the staff are incredibly helpful & the location is quite beautiful - it’s separate from the busy downtown of Victoria but still close enough to easily get to town quickly, with some coastal walks nearby! My only notes were that the property has active construction which made getting in & out slightly cumbersome with little direction and parking was slightly confusing during check in as a result.

The property was lovely, inspiring, accommodating, and upscale. It’s only about a 10 minute ride from the bustle of DT Victoria so being nestled in a quiet area as pretty lovely. David, a manager at the Rosewood, made out stay absolutely unforgettable. His knowledge of the property, history of the hotel and Victoria, and suggestions of things to do absolutely made our time at the Rosemead exception and unforgettable. He’s the true gem of the the property. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Beautiful large room in the original house. Loved the bathroom, very spacious with a smart toilet. Unfortunately, due to a kitchen fire the dining room was closed. A good continental breakfast was offered for $25. We booked the hotel specifically because of the dining room to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. We had to find another restaurant and book an uber. We understand that the fire was beyond their control but nothing was offered due to the inconvenience. After asking for compensation, we were upgraded. We feel something should have been offered by the hotel to compensate for the closure of the dining room without us asking for it. Construction around the hotel takes away from the beautiful grounds and also made it diffficult to find an entrance. The house is beautifully updated while keeping the original features. The staff at the reception desk when we got there were very helpful and pleasant - Eva and Deni. When we checked out, there was an error on our bill and a manager had to be called to have the error corrected.The hotel and grounds are amazing and once the restaurant is reopened and the construction around the hotel is completed, it will be a very fine hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, with amazing service. The site is under construction and the restaurant was out of commission, but next time I expect it will be perfect.
