very basic room it is what it is

On arrival the lock on the room did not work. when raised with reception they stated that it had been changed several times, but the door would not lock from the inside. There was no consideration for safety. left without staying as did not feel safe

Basic hotel that suited our needs. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

They are trying hard to improve the place. I had stayed there before when it was the Shelton, it was awful. They have a few rough edges they need to fix, then they would get a high score. There are lots of incomplete handyman or decorating projects incomplete. The basics were covered well, big towels, plenty of electric points and some near bed. Lot of hotels fail in that Cups were tiny expresso cups and no spoon.. As I was only there to sleep for one night ,I got good room at a good price for London. For under 60 quid with breakfast In London near rail link I'm not gonna complain much if its clean and comfortable. Room above had loud TV after 11pm, phoned reception, was sorted in 5 minutes.

hotel dilapidated, staff knocking on my door at 11pm looking for payment for room, tv did not work and going down to where breakfast was ,was like entering london dungeons

Stay was totally fine, room small but perfectly adequate for my purposes. Clean, easy and good value - convenient for my work trip in Crouch End with only a 15 min walk to get there.

Room wasn't clean was there 4 days and nobody came to clean give fresh towels or toilet roll they say they have a bar and restaurant in hotel but certainly don't

My stay was great the staff and the rooms are clean and nice. Great service!
