Clean rooms and friendly staff

Lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms tastefully renovated, very clean and confortable. Excellent evening meal. Breakfast at the hotel would have enhanced the stay.

A great hotel, set in a busy pub, cannot fault the stay at all. Staff friendly, room was immaculate.

The staff were lovely, they were all so friendly and helpful especially Fay and Callum. The room was nice, had a Mountain View, bathroom had lovely shower, nice fluffy white towels. Everything lovely and clean, plugs by the bed and enough plugs in the room. Window shutters are great. But - there is no on-site parking, it states that there is. Parking is a public road opposite the hotel, free, but it gets very busy. And the restaurant was really noisy when we were there on a weekend. Good food.

Clean room, staff very helpful, nice views of hills from the room, food in pub excellent. No breakfast option but there are local shops, I took breakfast items with me.

Checking in was really easier, we were shown around and then to our room. If you are going to stay here definitely book the mountain view room "Parc", modern spacious room. The train station is a short walk which is great for getting around. Thank you for a great stay. All staff were really friendly.

The hotel is beautiful! Wonderful decor, great outdoor heated booths and the hotel/bedrooms area is incredible. Fantastic clean, beautifully decorated room with an expensive optional fan (great in hot weather); vanity mirror x2 which is perfect for doing make up; THE comfiest bed/bed linen we have ever experienced. Staff so lovely too! Food looked great but didn’t experience as was booked up (not surprised in slightest). We are definitely returning when we visit the Rhondda again 😊

Absolutely amazing and helpful staff. I had loads of luggage and they helped me to the room with it all so I didnt have to run up and down. Lots of information about the area and what an area. In the mountains and with the river running through the town. The room itselfs was spotless clean, warm and inviting. A quiet nights sleep in a oh so comfortable bed. Would happily stay here again. Loved it.

Lovely well appointed room. We stayed in the Parc room. Tastefully decorated with nice views of the mountains surrounding this small Welsh town nestled in beautiful mountainous countryside. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Special thanks to Callum for his help. My husband sings with the world famous Treorchy Male Choir which hadca Christmas concert that evening. We decided to stay so that we could enjoy the choir's "afterglow". Excellent stay, excellent evening.

Beautifully renovated Hotel in a great location. We loved our room, so cosy and had everything we needed. The shower was just amazing! We will definitely be back for a longer stay soon

I travel a lot around the UK and have to say this has to be ranked in the top 3. The cleanliness and host was 5*

Newly refurbished rooms were really nice, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is also a bar/pub/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. There was entertainment in the evening which was loud and we were concerned that it might disturb our sleep, but once back in the room, we couldn’t hear it. There is unrestricted public parking opposite the hotel.
