Pros: Excellent location near the central market, tons of cafes and supermarkets, and around a charming square. Property has high ceilings, excellent natural light and is cheerful, Nidia at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Code based entry excellent idea and does not require carryng around a card. What can be improved: The effective space is not very much, there's quite a bit of lost space due to long-ish passages and crannies; perhaps some furniture or storage could be added to those areas; a cutting board and some more utensils would be welcome for a group of 4. The stove top is difficult to use, and the microwave default setting is not very powerful; the signs on it are also difficult to follow; the microwave's internal plate gets extremely hot; perhaps best to paste a warning on the mw door.

I travel extensively for work and this is the nicest place I have stayed at to date. Candelaria10 is so well thought out and provides you with an apartment that feels more like home than a standard dull rental. The interior design is incredible, comfortable, clean and has all the amenities you need. The location is amazing as well, it is located around the perimeter of a square that has so much of that Spanish life and character, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants right from your door. It's also quiet at night, even considering being located around the square, I always got a good nights sleep there, also since the bedding was so comfortable. I debated between staying by the beach or in old town, I am so glad I chose Candelaria, this place can't be beat! Aside from the incredible rooms, Candelaria also offers a spectacular roof top terrace that is available to all. From here you get a panoramic view of Cadiz, you can bathe in the sun, have lunch or watch the incredible sunset from here, it's quite nice. Also nice is the staff, they were all so friendly and so helpful throughout my stay. The owner of the building even walked me around town to show me places I asked about instead of drawing me a map, it felt like you had a friend there when you needed it, thanks George! I hope to visit Cadiz again in the future, and when I do, I won't look anywhere else to stay other than Candelaria10!

Perfecta ubicación y maravilloso apartamento para disfrutar de Cádiz como si estuvieses en casa.

My husband works abroad most weeks, so when he was working near Sevilla we took the chance to book a long weekend break in Cadiz and we are so glad we did, this place is a little gem! The apartment has been fully restored to its previous glory. Overlooking (in my opinion) the nicest park in Cadiz. It had everything you could require for a comfortable stay, short or long term. The owner was lovely and very helpful and allowed us to check out late. It was literally a few minutes walk to everywhere. During the siesta times, when the shops close, we headed to the apartments communal rooftop terrace and just admired the amazing views with some jamón and cheese. On the Sunday it rained, but we were not bothered. It was lovely to relax in the apartment (something we never do!) with a glass of wine overlooking the park. We also headed back to the rooftop terrace after a late dinner to see the cathedral and town lit up at night and watch the lighthouse from the castle. We did plenty of historical sightseeing, walking and eating. Literally the restuarant next door is the best. Ending with a day of shopping before we left. The train is direct to either Sevilla and Madrid for flights, so was super easy to get too! We wouldnt definately return.

The apartments are located in a beautifully renovated historical building on Candelaria square. The building is conveniently located in the old town. Everything incl. the train station can be easily reached by foot. We had an apartment on the second floor with marvelously high ceilings. The rooms have a beautiful modern interior design and offer the standards of a five-star hotel. The rooftop terrace is free to use and offers fantastic views of Cádiz, especially from the little tower that is typical for the buildings in the old town. Around the Appartement building you can find a plethora of restaurants and cafes. Ask the owners at check-in for recommendations. We can highly recommend Candelaria10 and look forward to come back again very soon.
