Ver good staff and good location

Excellent value for money. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The staff provided outstanding customer service throughout our stay. Great location and a wonderful experience overall.

Pretty awful place really. Car park is a shambles and the room is basic at best, but really old and dated. The smell of the cleaning products used was awful. Looks like they have started some much needed refurb in other rooms, but mine was felt like something you could rent for the hour…

The room was not as pictured. The parking was absolutely horrendous. The parking spot for our particular room was in a very narrow driveway and made it very hard to get in and out not only for us but other guests. The room was tidy, however the fridge did fall out of the cavity when opened. There was two single beds pushed together to create a double bed. The basin in the bathroom was stained, the shower head sprayed water out the top if the shower was turned on to an adequate flow, the water did not drain correctly from the shower so the bathroom was covered in a large amount of water, there was a shampoo dispenser but no conditioner instead there was body wash. There was teeth and claw marks in the back of the bathroom door, the door did not lock. The curtain wasn't hemmed correctly making it a tripping hazard. The area was a nice area and the places we wanted to go to were easily accessible and within walking distance. Overall for the price of the room it was reasonable for East Melbourne just expected certain things to be basic expectations as they are matenince issues that should have been addressed.

Fantastic hotel for the price. Well appointed room, very clean, helpful staff and in a lovely location within reasonable walking distance to the centre of the city or if preferred nearby tram stop

Do yourself a favour and book this establishment, renovated and clean, big rooms, ammenities, beds awesome, my second stay and the management are truly fantastic nothing is an issue so helpful and the price is outstanding, right in the heart of Melb book today thoroughly recommend and I’m not easy to please

Staff where very helpful & accommodating. Great location if your heading to the hospital.

Nice and family friendly with shops nearby clean room all the comforts from home.

Shops are fairly close, although I am familiar with the area so that helps.

Clean rooms, the hallway at the entrance has an animal urine smell. The motel was bought out and the new owners are constantly updating and working on the rooms. The rooms were great for the price and location.

Excellent service great value superb location

No shops nearby but not far from the Smith Street area. Also trams nearby. I wouldn't really call this a hotel, more like a glorified hostel. The room was good but that is all I can say about the place. It is not staffed most of the time. Luckily there was someone at reception when I got there as a solo female traveller. There are no other facilities what so ever, no downstairs seating area or anything. Noisy at night and I could smell smoking from somewhere!

Clean room, welcoming staff and nearby to venues and public transport. Only issue was Executive King Suite bathroom pictures is only in 1 room. Bathroom provided was same as general room, which I would have instead booked had I known. Otherwise perfect stay.

Love staying here !! Definately the place to be whilst in melbourne. High level of service and the overall quality of the stay from the room to the cafe downstairs is just great. After hours check in for people who are arriving late and they are flexible in case you need to extend or a specific of your stay changes. Couldnt recommend more

Was very clean and pillows were good TV difficult to operate, eventually got it

I have stayed here a few times now. The rooms are clean and the view out the window (East) has a beautiful charm. Shower is lovely. Close to IGA shop. My toy Cavoodle also enjoyed his stay! Will be back again soon!!

Shower access was dangerous 30cm step in and out. No spare sheets for sofa bed and a dirty blanket. Price of parking was to high considering it wasn't security parking.
