Visit the tropical paradise, Frankland Islands in comfort aboard the Turtle Islander on this day trip from Cairns
Start your day traveling by coach south of Cairns for 45-minutes towards Deeral where you'll start with a rainforest river cruise, followed by the shortest open water crossing of any of the Cairns day tour boats, putting you right on the Great Barrier Reef
With it's pristine sandy beaches and rock pools, arrive at Normanby Island in the beautiful Frankland Islands National Park island group and the perfect spot for four hours of free-time snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking or laying by the beach
For those coral lovers, you'll be dropped approximately 1km from the boat where you'll then move with the current safely back to shore along a stretch of colourful coral If you're not a confident swimmer, your guide has buoyancy doughnuts and will provide expert commentary along the way
