Tangalooma Island Resort latest day trip offering includes a guided snorkel tour through the magical Tangalooma Shipwrecks of Moreton Island. The crystal clear waters that surround the wrecks are filled with over 200 species of fish and 130 species of coral, not to mention 3 different species of marine sea turtle, dolphins and even our resident Wobbegong sharks and stingrays. This guided tour begins at the Tangalooma beach front, with a short boat ride to the wrecks, with all snorkel gear provided.

Duration

This is a full Day Tour

Subject to availability to depart from Tangalooma Wharf at 7.30am or 10am

The Snorkelling Tour is approximately 90 minutes (30 minutes in the water). Includes wetsuit, mask, fin and snorkel

Tour finishes at approximately 7pm and returns back to Brisbane at approximately 8.15pm

Tour finish times vary throughout the year according to sunset times. Return launch time is approximately 7pm in Winter, 7.30pm in Spring and Autumn and 8pm in Summer

Location

This experience takes place at Moreton Island with cruises departing from Pinkenba in Brisbane.

Departure Location

Cruise departs from 220 Holt Street, Pinkenba in Brisbane, QLD.

What To Bring

Please remember to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat. Swimsuit and change of clothes are also recommended.

Minimum age to participate is 6 years.

For your safety, you must disclose if you are suffering from any injury, medical condition (such as pregnancy, epilepsy, asthma or cardiovascular conditions), disability, disease, or illness, after booking.

If you have an injury or a pre-existing medical condition, in order to participate, it is essential to provide a medical certificate confirming your fitness for snorkeling. Please bring the certificate with you on the day. If you suffer from asthma please bring your medication.

Cancellation Policy

More than 48 hours prior to travel, no cancellation fee

48 hours or less before travel, 100% cancellation fee and no changes permitted

Day of travel or No Show, 100% cancellation fee

Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking

Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
