Having Fun Batik & Art

Are you ready to make your own batik? Do you want to share ideas and designs for traditional batik patterns or new designs now? We will help you in the process of making batik so that you will get a satisfactory final result according to your own design.

We will make batik art together at Pendhapa Art Space. Pendhapa Art Space belongs to a sculptor named Dunadi, fortunately, friends can also freely enjoy his sculptures displayed in the gallery or in the sculpture garden. Our batik class team is a graduate of the arts university in Yogyakarta majoring in batik, and their experience and knowledge will be shared in a batik session at Pendhapa Art Space. During this time of a pandemic, we will provide our friends, a place to wash hands, a large open area, and health protocols in a clean place/environment.

In batik class, the first thing we will do is make our own design (drawing) on the fabric with a pencil, then start by applying wax to the fabric then the next step is to color it. The results of the batik class will belong to you. This batik class takes about 2.5 hours. Don't worry, we also provide local drinks and snacks.

Our location is in Sewon, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Our location is not far from the city center and easy access to get to. If you have a special request or something else, don't hesitate to let us know.
