Marine World Umi-no-nakamichi, located in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, opened in 1989 with the concept of being "an aquarium that adults can enjoy as well."
This aquarium exhibits approximately 350 species and 30,000 marine creatures.
It features a beautiful exterior reminiscent of a white shell.
It has four floors above ground, a site area of 48,000㎡, and a total floor space of 21,400㎡. It is one of the top five aquariums in Japan.
