Why is it important to obtain a Thailand Pass before coming to Thailand?
The COVID-19's expected documentation and other paperwork requirements will be addressed through the Thailand Pass system. The new Thailand Pass is designed to aid in the support of the country's "Ease of Travel" system once it reopens, as well as to speed up the process of filling out forms and uploading travel documents.

No. Travelers must remain alone in your hotel room while waiting for the results of your RT-PCR test. Travelers will be allowed to leave their hotel room only after they have received the negative result.
If travelers’ flight is delayed by up to 72 hours, travelers can still use an outdated Thailand Pass QR. But if changes last more than 72 hours, travelers will need to get a new Thailand Pass.
