Hobby Hotel

The staff at this hotel are very kind and the location is good, with walkable distances to the sights of central Yerevan. The hotel has some shortcomings. The air circulation in my room was poor. There was always a stale smell. The windows could not be opened and running the ventilation fans in the ceiling made no difference. The fans were too noisy to use at night. There was mould around the window and on the shower grouting. The room was not very inviting with grey walls and cold white ceiling lights. There was a small refrigerator and a kettle, but no tea or coffee. Breakfast was advised from 8-10, but did not get laid out until 8:20 on some days. This made the timing tight for me on two days when I had tours departing at 9. On a day when I had to leave before 8, I asked and the hotel staff did let me have breakfast at 7:30, which I appreciated.

Great hotel for its price. Good location near the center of Yerevan and the staff is super friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here!

My stay here was wonderful. Ruzanna was great along with all of the staff. Clean and quiet but very close to all the attractions Yerevan has to offer. Yerevan will call me back and I will likely stay at the Hobby Hotel again!
